Michelle, 10:05
I was hanging around with my friend Andy when the teacher said "We have a new student!"
I looked up and realized I had a problem. The new student was gorgeous. She might be a problem. But then she sat next to me and reached out her hand.
"Hi, I'm Yazzie!" She smiled at me. Such an amazing smile.
"M-Michelle." I took her hand and blushed.
"Pretty name." She smiled that dizzying smile.
"MICHELLE!" Ms. Daniels was yelling and I snapped out of my trance.
"Y-yes ma'am?" I kept glancing at Yazzie.
"Since you're the only one staring at Yazmin, you'll be giving her a tour of the school now." She looked disappointed.
I couldn't focus I was so ecstatic. A school tour with the new girl? I realized that my mom had described this when talking about dad. I wonder if she would be mad if I told her I was in love with a girl. Well, I wouldn't know. She died a few years ago.
"Yes ma'am, right away ma'am." I grabbed Yazzie's hand and pulled her out of the room.
"Michelle!" Yazzie stopped me. "I thank you, but you didn't have to drag me."
"Sorry, I get excited." I looked her over. She looked older than ten by a year or two. She was killing me by even existing. But I can't very well tell her. That'd be suicide, especially if she's straight.
"It's fine." She kept holding my hand, sending sparks up my arm. I knew at that moment I'd have to tell her one day.
