On a cold and quiet night, a tall pine tree in the middle of the forest stands tall, with lanterns glowing brightly. The light coming from them glimmering brightly in the snowflakes falling all around the trees and ground. The aurora borealis dancing gracefully in the night sky. "Alright, where should we hang this lantern..." asked one of the Snowfall Villagers. His dough was pale, highlighting his deep brown hair, and fluffy brown coat. "How about... here?" he asked kindly. "No, daddy! Higher! Hang it higher!" a little cookie shouted excitedly. The little cookie's deep brown eyes stood out from her pale dough, her soft brown hair and smoked brown coat. "Ha ha, the height is more important," said the snowfall villager, "more Cookies can see the lantern! But it's also important to make your feelings come through." he said to his daughter. "Feelings? What feelings?" she questioned to her father. "For example, your wishes for other Cookies' happiness." he explained, "The first cookie to hang a lantern onto this tree used to say that..." he took a quick pause. "Do you want to hear the story?" he asked his daughter. "Yes! Yes! Tell me!" said the young Snowfall villager with excitement. Her face beamed with interest, as her father started the tale, "Far, far away to the north, amidst the tall, frigid mountains, where snow falls all year round... was a little village." The young Cookie looked happily, wanting to hear the story, her father happy seeing her so invested. "In this village, lived two little Cookie friends." said the Snowfall villager.
