"Second floor, third shop to the left, " She heard. .and she froze.
The masculine voice, the familiar scent of ocean breeze, like she'd talked to him before.
Yeah got that right!
As soon as a pair of emerald irises met her hazel brown ones, they both realised.
"You again!" Tellar exclaimed,"what are you doing here?"
"And how's that your business?"The guy replied.
"I'm not in the mood for this again" Tellar said and walked out. Suddenly a firm hand pulled her back. His firm hand. Soft, but firm. She liked it, but tried to hide the blush that crept up her face.
"Let's pretend nothing ever happened, huh?" He asked.
"Umm..okay then," Tellar shyly said.
There was something about this guy she couldn't put her finger on. She felt a bright aura around him.Tellar liked it.
"I'm Nocturne Brand, and you?"
Tellar was roo deep in thoughts to notice she was being asked a question. When she found out she looked embarrassed.
"Sorry huh? "
"What's your name?" Nocturne politely asked.
"Tellar Malein, but my friends call me Tel; Nice to meet you, " she smiled.
"Same goes to you, ". He took her right hand and gently placed a kiss at the back of her palm. Tellar felt her cheeks turning red so she immediately withdrew her hand.
"What's wrong?"Nocturne askee with a sense of care in his tone.
"Nothing, its just what you did reminded me of my father." She looked away as her eyes began to tear up.
"What about your father?"
"I'd rather not say, please."
"It's okay . I'm sorry for asking," Nocturne paused for a moment.
"Thanks for understanding. I better get going," she said.
"Yeah me too. It was nice meeting you Tellar, if you forget about the insults," he said. She smiled and immediately walked towards the escalators. He watched till her figure completely went out of sight, then turned around to head back home.
Tellar looked at the time on one of the clocks of one stall she passed by.7:03pm. Damn. It was late. She found CVS finally and headed towards the head and body section. Everything looked the same, so she randomly picked a blue hair jel and tossed it into her basket. She also got some chocolates - it was inevitable..those little sugar devils. She went over to the cashier. It didn't take up to two minutes and she was done. She ran to the ground floor . There wasn't any need of jogging so she immediately flagged down a taxi and went home.
