Based on a dream I had this morning.
Pondering.
A given task.
A seemingly sealed fate.
The lady in my ear told me that I had to do it.
To carry the ancient flower to the rooftops,
And fall into the pool full of the rest.
It had to be me.
She told me I had to leave everything behind.
To make amends with those I was at wrong with,
And sacrifice myself to the pools.
I picked up the flower after trying to right my wrongs.
No matter if it had worked or not, I did what the lady in my ear told me to do.
Once I picked up the flower, I walked through the halls of my old middle school.
People from every point in time in my life had passed by me and saw the flower.
They cried as I said goodbye to them.
Some told me not to leave with the flower in hand,
But the lady in my ear talked louder than their voices.
I kept walking,
Up
Up
Up
So many people.
So many old and new faces.
They all told me to stop.
That it would be bad if I left.
But the lady in my ear told me that it would be bad for me to stay.
So I kept walking.
I got to the top of the building,
And looked down at the pool.
It was full of dull yellow flowers.
It was time.
Without a second thought, I held the flower close,
And jumped.
I hit the side of the pool, and fell to the side,
Sinking in.
The lady in my ear was ecstatic.
But I couldn't breathe.
I didn't float.
The sense left in me came rushing through at the last minute.
I cant breathe.
I don't want to die yet.
I don't want to die yet.
I struggled, trying to reach the surface,
But never did.
I made a mistake.
It seemed so right at the moment.
I faded in and out of consciousness, waking up but being forcefully pulled back into the dream of me drowning.
I'm not supposed to die yet.
I thought it was time.
It's not my time yet.

I had this dream 5 years ago at one of the worst and hardest times in my life.
This dream shifted a decision I was pondering to make.
Even though it was rough, I decided to keep living.
If you're seeing this; please, keep living.
