Hwang Se-yeon's POV

I finally had my chance to change my life. My father, Hwang Gang-tae and my mom, Hwang Moon-young had their companies shifted from Busan to Seoul. My dad was a businessman but always took out time for me unlike the movies.

My mom is again a business woman in fashion and jewelry. I would say that it is kind of a blood tradition in our family to do something in business and also that our family has been wealthy for more than 4 generations but we never take that for granted.

My whole childhood was spent in Busan but the only friend I ever had was Choi Yeonjun, my neighbour next door. We always had been friends cause I cant remember 1 day that we were not, since our mom's were best friends.

Ironically enough her mom and my mom are partners in their business and his dad and my dad are too so it was obvious that we would be pretty close.

Many people say that boys and girls cannot remain as only friends ;I don't believe that. Me and Yeonjun always shared everything with each other whether it was happy or sad. We always had a soft corner for each other.

Unlike me, Yeonjun was the popular one in our school. He was the boy everyone had a crush on and the one everyone liked yet he always sat with me for lunch and I felt bad for him sometimes. He was literally the only person who knew my each and every secret; he knew me crystal clear.

When we moved I thought that this time I will prove that I can also make friends without anyone's help. Not a single doubt came in my mind on whether Yeonjun was shifting too, but it turned out that I was wrong.

His parents had decided to manage the business here while my parents did the same in Seoul.

I was in a cloud of gloom until they said, "Oh Se-Yeon-ah don't worry our Yeonjun is going with you." I was so happy but then I realized that he will be living with us."

I didn't mind it actually, cause I already knew we would have different rooms as the house we had bought had 5 rooms in total. Still I never had lived with a boy IN my house!

Still I was glad that Yeonjun was coming with me. Even though he was my best friend for forever I cannot lie that I had NEVER thought of us being more than friends, Of course I had, but breaking such long and precious friendship of ours was not worth it at all.

I would hear many times when Yeonjun's friends would tease him by my name but he always denied the fact. I wonder if he never, not even once thought about us being more than friends.

Once I decided that I was not going to think about him that way anymore I never thought of him again like that but only like a best friend.

Weeks flew by and soon we got ready to move with almost everything. We arrived in Seoul on August 15 so it was obvious that we would have to look for a new school here. Yeonjun helped a lot, not only me but my parents too.

It gave me a chance to spend time with my closest people as mom and dad are almost out everyday on all the days except Sunday which is primarily "Family Time."

Once we got settled in with everything and everything was normal and I could take out sometime for myself. It was a Saturday afternoon and the house was pretty chill so I decided to take a hot bubble bath and do some skincare to pamper myself..as one does.

Yeonjun was in the 3rd room which was the room beside mine. Both the rooms were pretty spacious. Once I finnished everything I went in my room as it was around 6:30 pm by now.

While I was scrolling on my phone on my bed I recieved a message from mom, that both her an dad were going to be super late due to a meeting held about the marketing team as they had a big issue and their products were removed of all websites which resulted in a great loss to both companies.
