"Koda move your ass, this cleaning won't get done if you just sit there."
"Right, sorry."
Mrs. Bane adopted me after my parents were murdered by rouge wolves. I have always been in charge of doing the chores and cooking because I'm the runt.
I go back to cleaning the main hall for dinner, the pack lives together. It's been that way since the beginning.
I get pulled out of my thoughts by omegas screeching. Turning around I see the soon to be alpha Jason. The omegas go crazy because he hasn't found his mate yet, even though he's already 17.
"Alright, alright quiet down. I've come to get Koda." He said as he stared directly at me. My heart sank, what did I do this time?
"A- alright, I'm coming." I drop what I'm doing and walk to the alpha. My 5 foot stature is no match for his 6'5.
"Follow me." He says turning around and walking out the door.
I follow behind him, having to jog every so often to match his stride. I get nervous when I see we're going to his father's office. He knocks on the door and says quickly, "I have Koda." When the alpha tells him to go in. I follow behind him into the office, surprised when I hear his dad call my name.
"Koda, you will be 17 soon. Then you can find your mate and leave this pack. You are nothing more than a nuisance. So I want you to start packing, it's only 3 days till your birthday."
"Y.. yes sir." I say quietly looking down. I was afraid this would happen, no one in this pack has ever not hated me. Holding back tears I turn around to walk back to my room.
Jason follows behind me, walking silently to my small room at the end of the corner. I walked in the door looking behind me to see what he needed.
"Koda, I'm sorry about my dad, he's- he's old fashioned. You know I don't live in the group house, so if you don't find your mate you can live with me."
Tears started to stream down my face as I said, "Th.. thank you Jason, you don't have to do that."
He hugged me and I felt the most safe I have in my life, he made my wolf freak out, but I don't know why.
"Now go to sleep, I'm going to have you help me with my work instead of cleaning and cooking."
I smiled up at him, "Thank you, Jason." He smiled back and ruffled my hair.
As he shut my door I fell on my bed happy for the first time in a while. Jason has always been nice to me, even though I'm the runt. He is truly worthy of the alpha title. I fall asleep in bliss, thinking of Jason.
I wake up to a knock on my door, "Koda, come on time to get ready." I hear Jason instantly making my heart flutter.
"O.. okay I'll be out in 15 minutes." I hurry to get dressed and ready to help Jason out for the day.
For the next two days I helped Jason out with his work, which makes me dread today.
I wake up to a loud knock on the door, hoping it's Jason, but one of the guards said, "The Alpha needs you in his office, now."
I shake in fear, but get ready nonetheless. Sadly I walk out and follow the guard to the Alpha's office. The doors didn't seem as big as they do now. As the door opened, I smelled a familiar scent. I walk in to see Jason, my wolf howls at seeing him. It all makes sense now, he's my mate. I look at Jason guilty but he just smiles at me.
"Father." He starts.
"What is it, Jason?"
"You can't kick Koda out. He is my mate."
The Alpha's face dropped as he looked at me.
"You bitch, you did something to Jason." He nodes at the guards as they pull guns out at me.
"Father, you dare go against the Goddess?" Jason is visibly mad now, "Get your fucking guns away from my mate." He then walks over to me and glares at his father.
"Get out of my office. I don't want to talk about this right now."
"Gladly."
He takes my hand and drags me out to the hall. We keep walking till we're outside, then he walks me to his car.
"Get in." I get into the passenger seat without saying a word.
"Fuck, Koda, I'm really sorry he did that." Jason looked apologetic.
"It's okay Jason, really, you helped me anyways."
He smiles and drives to his house, miles away from the main house. In the woods there's a wooden cabin. We drive up to park in the driveway and he stops to say, "This is my place."
We walk into the house and he says, "Just so you know, I don't reject you as my mate." I look at him smiling and say, "I.. I don't either."
"Okay, Koda, the room is upstairs. Let me help you unpack." I smile and walk up the stairs into the room.
After a couple of hours of putting my stuff away and playing games it was night.
"Hey Koda, come here." he was sitting on our bed, with a smirk. A blush creeped onto my face. "O... okay." I walk over to him and he pulls me down.
On top of me he smirks and leans down to kiss me. He kisses me rough and passionately, I feel my heart flutter. He reaches down to palm my member, and I moan out.
