Chloe didn't know what was up with her that day. She has a peculiar hot temper, undeniably, but she was never the kind of person to join a fight in questionable circumstances. The girl would clench her fists and aim for the chin, but only when she knew she could win, which was not the case that particular evening.
Everything was right, until she woke up. Three missed calls from her mother and an avalanche of texts, also from her, asking how she's doing and why she hasn't shown up to their last family meeting. Chloe left her parents' house on bad terms after a nonstop wave of discussions about how she was going to ruin her future if she didn't follow the same path as Kaitlyn. She didn't, so she packed up all of her belongings and lived in Finn's basement for a while, then found a job and started to get her shit together. She never felt like finishing school and jumping into college so soon felt foreign. Chloe took her time, worked on some personal matters and made the most out of this little piece of freedom she found. She never liked burying her face in books, anyways.
