In a forest far away from any villages or civilization was a house. That house belonged to Philza Minecraft. He and his three kids, Tommy, Techno, and Wilbur, lived there alone. Phil had moved them out there when they were very young, Tommy didn't remembering anything from before and Wilbur and Techno remembered very little. But that was a long time ago now, about fifteen years, and none of them cared anymore. They lived peacefully. Tommy being the wild child he was spent most of his time outside, playing in the yard with whatever he could find.
Wilbur was the exact opposite. He would stay on the porch whenever he went outside, which was very little. He preferred staying inside and focusing on his music. Guitar, piano, anything he had really. Techno would come outside sometimes, more than Wilbur would. He would come out whenever Tommy was feeling lonely and practice dueling with him. Phil had gifted each of them swords when they each turned sixteen, meaning Techno and Wilbur had much more experience than Tommy.
Though he did know how to use a sword well, he had had it for at least a year now after all. They were all happy. At times they saw their lives as the best the could get, and at other times they didn't. The only problem Phil had with the three was that they were all curious. Wilbur and Tommy were more trouble than Techno was. Techno knew the rules and followed them as he knew he should. Tommy and Wilbur knew the rules but tried to break them, a lot of them.
They would go outside at night before Phil pulled them back in minutes later, they would steal food from the fridge, go into Phil's room while he was away, everything they thought they could get away with they tried. They never got any major consequences either, that's what made them keep going, because they knew nothing bad would happen. At most Wilbur would get his guitar taken away, and Tommy his sword. Though that didn't do much to Tommy, he still had the outside, and he knew Phil couldn't stop him from going out there. Wilbur on the other had always got upset when he got his guitar taken away. Yes he did have other instruments but his guitar was his favorite. He always got it back in the end, whether it was for a long time or not, so he didn't mind cause a little mischief with Tommy here and there.
Techno joined in rarely, only when the were planning something he was interested in. Like the one time they planned to do a deep dive on their mother, who had died soon after Tommy was born. That was about a year ago now and Phil was very upset when he found out what they were doing. He found them searching in his room for anything they could find. They didn't care if it was something that belonged to her or pictures, letters, anything, they didn't get far though. Phil banned them from his room after that, even when they asked. If they needed something from his room he would go in, get it for them, and lock the door when he came out.
After that Techno didn't plan schemes with them often. Only one or two every few months. This one in particular though, this intrigued him. Tommy rushed up to Techno and Wilbur's room and swung the door open. Wilbur jumped as the door hit the wall behind it. "Tommy! What did I say about the door!" Wilbur yelled. "Don't be rough with it." Tommy groaned. Wilbur nodded and huffed as he turned back to look at his guitar.
"Need something Tommy?" Techno asked. He was laying down on his bed with a book in hand. He had a finger in between the pages so he wouldn't lose his place. "Yes! I had an idea!" Wilbur looked back at Tommy, the sentence grabbing his attention. "Another scheme I presume?" Wilbur said in a mischievous tone, a grin on his face. "Correct you are my dear brother!" Tommy shouted. "I'm out." Techno said opening his book again. "Oh come on Techno! You'll like this one!" Tommy said.
"Yeah Techno, have a little fun with us will you?" Wilbur tried to encourage him. Techno sighed, "Fine." He tossed his book aside and turned to Tommy. "What do you got for us?" Wilbur questioned. "Well, you know how dad never let's us go close to the tree line?" Tommy asked them, to which the other two nodded. "What if we go past the tree line! Or at least to the edge of it! We can see what's out there!" Tommy cheered. Wilbur and Techno looked to each other with concern then back at Tommy. "Are you sure? Isn't that dad's one rule? Never cross the tree line?" Wilbur asked.
