The Mafia boss

Louise's POV

I have been in Birmingham for 2 months now with no love life and all my friends are in relationships and I feel left out and I do not know what to do. I am working to pay my rent and it is really hard you know I have been struggling ever since my mom passed away  2 months ago and everything hasn't been the same but I just hope I am making her proud. 

I am sat in work and I saw this guy pop up on my insta feed and guess what he is my ex and I though I blocked him I guess not. I then decided to block him but he popped up with hi so I replied back saying hi and he then said "maybe you can date me again baby" I then said "I ain't your baby any more" I then blocked him and sighed and my boss then said "Louise do some work please" so I then put my phone down and did my work and I then said "hey do you mind if I do some extra shifts tonight?" My boss then checked the rota and she then said "of course you can" I then continued to do my work and I then had a break for my dinner and of course I went to the little café at the end of the street and I just watched people go by and cute couples and I just thought to myself "I will never find love" I then ate my sandwich and drank my coffee and I then headed back to work. 

I finished work at 5pm and now I am all alone in my apartment and I am cuddling into my mom's little bunny that she held onto every night when she slept until she took her final breath, I then felt a tear roll down my face as I knew I missed her dearly and I just wish she was around as she brightened up my day. I then decided to have a pot noodle for my tea and then I headed into he shower and I then decided to do a few TikToks and I have a good amount of followers on there and I ain't sure why but I am so grateful. I then decided to watch pretty little liars on Netflix as there was nothing else I could do and I then decided to make myself a hot chocolate but the machine decided to break and I tried to open the lid and the hot chocolate splatted everywhere and I then had to clean it up. I then heard someone knock on the door so I walked over to my apartment door and there stood a blonde haired girl and she then said "hi I am Kirstie nice to meet you" I then said "hi I am Louise" she then added "I just moved in with my husband and just wanted to say hi" I then said "awh, do you want to come in for a drink?" she then said "I would but my husband will get worried as I only said I was coming to say hi" I then said "oh okay but the offer still stands if ever you want to" she then smiled and waved and went back to her apartment and I sat there alone watching pretty little liars and I then got really tired but I couldn't sleep as I need to head back into work.

I am now back at my work place and there is only 2 of us and I then log into the computer and I then get on with my work and the girl came over and said "hi I am Lucy I just started today" I then said "hi I am Louise, do you need help with anything?" she then said "no I think I am good" I then said "alright but if you need help just give me a shout" she then said "I will do" we then carried on with our work and then Lucy left as her shift was over and I had 3 hours left and I felt really drained and as Lucy walked past she left a note on my desk I opened it and said "you look lovely by the way" I then smiled as nobody had ever complimented me in this work place as nobody hardly spoke to me. 

My shift has now ended and I am walking home by myself and there is a gang on the corner and I am really nervous but I walk past them anyways and I carry on walking back to my apartment and my legs were shaking but I then turned round and they were not there and I sighed with relief and then went into my apartment and I then headed into the shower yet again and then I got on my fresh comfy Pyjamas and I then climbed into bed and I just laid there and I knew tomorrow was a new day and I might somehow meet the love of my life right as clique as it sounds but it might be. I then just kept laying there and I questioned if I had locked up after myself and I did and I then just decided to put something on Netflix and I then decided to watch the rest of pretty little liars and I then was on season 6 and it was really confusing but it was getting interesting but I then looked at the time and it was 3am and I then yelled "SHIT!" as I have to be up for work at 7 and that meant I would only have 4 hours sleep which isn't good so I then turned off the TV and tried to go to sleep but nothing was working but I then just closed my eyes and suddenly I felt myself drifting off into a nice sleep.
