Toxic

Part One

Our yells bounced around the room back to my head making it turn into sharp pain. "I fucking asked you as nicely as I possibly could to not hang out with him" Tom yelled, waving his hands in the air making me back away.

My eyes stung from trying to hold back my tears, as I looked him dead in the eye. "He's my best friend! I don't know what you bloody expect me to do!" My voice cracked as I yelled. I noticed my voice got scratchy from yelling these past hours. Tom was on his way of saying something new when the door flew open.

"Are you okay here?" Draco Malfoy asked, looking between Tom and I.

"Mmhm, everything's fine" I put on the fake smile I've practiced doing so much it was natural at this point.

"Doesn't sound like it, the whole common room could hear you screaming" Mattheo pointed out, coming in through the door behind Malfoy.

"Everything's fine Mattheo, fuck off." Tom growled, glaring at Mattheo.
"I heard you yelling at her, Tom," Draco said.

"Nobody fucking asked what you heard Malfoy. I'm going to get some air." Tom stomped out of the room and slammed the door causing my wardrobe to shake.
I breathed in a deep breath and went to sit on my bed. "Are you sure you're good Y/n?" Mattheo asked, exchanging glances with Draco.

"I'm fine. Okay?" I frustratedly yelled.
"We're just worried for you. Tom's changed you Y/n. You haven't been the same since you started dating." Draco said with a sympathetic tone.

"I know my brother, he's an asshole most of the time." Mattheo added.
I stood up abruptly and yelled "Everything's fucking fine guys!" They backed up from me, probably scared.

"Fine. Your probably just going to end up having sex with him later tonight anyways." Mattheo said, shaking his head.
"Get out!" I screamed, grabbing my wand from my bedside table. They both hurridley scrambled out of my dorm, closing the door quickly behind them.

I hated that. I hated that I knew they were right. I hated it all. I knew they were a hundred percent right. I'd come crawling back to Tom like I always do.
And he'd accepted me back like nothing happened.
