A hooded figure stalked down a dimly lit alleyway, before pressing themselves against the wall as a couple walked down a different part of the alleyway, laughing and smiling, clearly enjoying eachothers company. The figure peeking around to make sure the couple had passed before quietly stalking towards a tall stone building, their footsteps like ghosts as they approached silently to a pair of tall, black, wooden doors.
The figure looked around them before slipping on a mask to hide the lower half of their face, their silvery grey eyes reflecting the dim light of the alleyway, making them glow a little. They then slowly and cautiously made their way into the building, the bitter air clouding from their breath as they continued to quietly move further into the building.
The sound of talking guided them closer to another wooden door. They placed a gloved hand against the door and pressed their ear to the cold wood.
"We have Pro Hero Hawks getting8 information from the league for us, and Pro Hero Endeavour is focusing on keeping the main areas of Japan protected but we'll need to put the student's from UA on the other missions." A voice informed through the door. The figure's fists clench tightly in anger but the stayed quiet for now. They needed to wait for the right moment.
The figure crouched down and looked through the key hole and noticed that their three main targets were in the room.
They slowly rose to their feet and flung open the heavy door causing it to make a loud, echoey bang as it collided with the inside wall. The three men jumped in surprise and swung around in their seats too look at the stranger that was standing menacingly in the doorway.
"Can we help you?" A blonde haired man asked annoyed. The others awaited a response from the stranger. However the Stranger ignored them and started to remove one of their gloves, their body had a slight grey aura around it and ash particles started to form and fill the air and flow around their bare closed fist. "Now, now, no need to resort to that, we can sit and talk this through." Another guy spoke up raising his hands slightly in surrender as he slowly started raising to his feet.
"Since when do you offer to negotiate with villains, why would I trust you?" The stranger spoke with what seemed to be a filtered voice. The stranger cracked their neck and the air instantly started to fill with ash, like a switch had been flicked, and started to suffocate the men, grey markings started to spread and become visible as it started to travel up the men's neck and up the side of their faces, before they dropped lifeless in their seats, but they weren't going to stop there, the stranger removed a knife and meticulously slit each man's throat before carving a symbol into the back of the men's neck.
The stranger heard a noise towards a locked door at the back of the room, they noticed scratches on the wall right by the door, but sounds of movements outside the main room causes the stranger to kick the locked door open and they saw a bound child who was clearly classed as a "villain." They carried the child and escaped the building, clearing the area before the heroes would be alerted of the murders. They held the child to their chest as they crept through the dark, familiar streets before knocking on another door. A figure opened the door and looked at the stranger with their piercing blue eyes, their black spiky hair bouncing slightly from the movement. "I'm back and I've brought a young one, who will need medical care and a lot of food." The stranger mutters calmly, showing the figure the child they carried. "Come in then." The figure's voice muttered before stepping to one side to let them pass.
