*Time's POV*
"Run." It's all I need to do.
"Get away from them." Is all I need to think about.
"what about evryone else? What about my wife? and my children?" No. Link, focus. They will be safe. They have to. They're strong.
I just have to keep going. My enemies don't know the Lost woods but I do. that's the only advantage I have at the moment.
An arow flew right beside my face only to land into a tree. I quickly used one of the magic spell the Great Fairies gave me years ago but goddesses... This was a bad idea. It takes way too much energy. I forced myself to keep going. After what felt an eternity, I fell right by the tree infront of the Forest Temple. My whole body was screaming in pain, my breathing was heavy and my vision cloudy.
"You're back huh?" a familiar voice spoke.
"Saria...?" I said just above a whisper.
"Yes?"
"Can we..." I tapped the ocarina that was standing on my hip.
"Of course we can Link."
We both took our instruments as the we played the song of our childhood in a much more slower beat. My notes were far from being good but at least I was playing with her one last time.

*Malon's POV*
I was pacing back and forth in my room trying to contain my stress. They should be back already.
"Where are you?" I let out.
Suddenly all sort of noises were heard from the living room.I headed there to see the Links, different expressions on their face.
"Where is Li- Time?" I questionned when I couldn't see my husband.
Wild hid his face against Twilight's chest, small sobs were heard from him.
Four seemed to have a conversation with himself again.
Legend was dead silent, no emotions or anything on his face.
Hyrule was looking at his hands.
Warriors was holding Wind in his arms and stared at the ground.
Sky seemed like he was searching for the right words to say.
"Really. Where is he?"
"He... We..." Twilight started. "He w-was in the Lost woods when we... found him..."
"Why isn't he there then...?" I questionned again.
Twi took a deep breath before saying. "We found Time dead in the Lost woods. Two ocarinas resting on his lap. The one the Princess gave him and one we didn't know who it belongs to."
The words he just spoke left me frozen in place for a minute or two. H-he couldn't have died. T-they were just going to investigate something. Quickly, tears started to fall from my eyes.
"I'll be outside..." I said between two sobs.
I left the house and walked to the horses.
"Mom?" The voice of my oldest son spoke. "Are- Why are you crying?"
I walked to him and wrapped my arms tightly around his chest.
"Hyrule lost its Hero of Time..." I said.
"You mean dad... He's not here anymore?" Caleb questionned.
I nodded slowly.
"Something happened to dad?" Asked Alec.
"Now that you say it... The others don't seem well." Said Jacob.
I told them what Twilight told me leaving my four sons in shock, grief and you name it.
"So we don't know how he died...?" Mark asked, I shook my head.

We, my sons and I, were standing infront of the dead body of my husband. Just like Twilight said, two ocarinas were resting on his lap. His expression was peaceful, he was happy. The small rays of sun that passed in the tree branches made his blonde hair even shinier and his features softer.
I placed a hand on his cold cheek. Tears were threatening to fall again. I started to sing through my cries. I couldn't finish the song though. I laid my head against my fairy boy's armored chest. Caleb, Mark, Jacob and Alec came closer and sat by my side. They were trying to be strong for their father. I may have lost my husband today, and it hurts alot, but at least I have very supportive chidren. I'm so proud of them. And I'm sure Link is too.

*Third person POV*
"So grandpa liked music too?" A small girl asked.
"Mhm. He was very good at it too. If you knew how much your grandpa could do and did..." Malon said, her voice going quieter.
"Do you miss him?"
"Of course I do... He was not just a hero but he was my Fairy boy."
"I'm here!" A strong man voice said.
"Papa!!" The girl ran to her dad.
"Hi Twilight." Malon smiled. "Mikio was a sweetheart today."
"That's good. By the way. Remember for tomorrow?"
The redhead girl nodded. How could she forget the day her husband died, seven years ago? Though, she was happy to see all the Links again and their kids or friends and family."
