Sarah woke up on a Monday morning ready to go to church. She went outside and saw that her best friend was going to join her. "Yay!" Sarah  said in excitement. She noticed a notification on her phone. It read a party at the fairgrounds for the most popular guy in school Lucas Morella. Sarah didn't want to go because she didn't fit in well with the party kids. She arrived at church and got outside to see her best friend there. "Cory!" She yelled as she hugged him. "Hey Sarah, I was hoping to join you this morning." He said. "You can sit with me and Julie. Sarah said. So church started.
"Shall we open in prayer?" The pastor asked. So we all bowed our heads to pray and then began to worship Jesus. You soon opened your bibles and turned to Luke. After service ,pastor invited you to church. Sarah is very close to him and his family. So after church you went to eat with them.
"So Mr. Joseph is there going to be another conference?" Sarah asked the pastor. "Yes as soon as we get our finances situated." Mr. Joseph said. "God will work it out." Sarah told him. He gave her a smile. "There's a birthday party at the fairground ,
"Sarah would you want to come with me?" Cory asked her. "Jee, Cory i don't really know there will be so many people." Sarah said letting him down politely. "Well I hope to see you next time Sarah." Cory said. "Are you going?" Sarah questioned him.
"Yeah..I mean Rachel's going to be there and I like her a lot." He said. "Okay I'll go with you." Sarah said rolling her eyes. So after church she went home to find something to wear for Friday night, eventually she found a tan 50s dress that her grandmother had once worn.
She took a shower then went to the mall to go into the b.a.m. (Books a million) to see what new devotionals they had  ,she soon saw a book that read "365 daily prayers for a women of God." She is are saved by grace through faith however she must admit that she lacks in her prayer life. So she bought the book then went home to have some private time with Jesus. He always answers to you even when you don't hear him or choose not to listen at times, he is still there and will always be there for you. He doesn't need you ,you need him.
God told Sarah to go to Lucas's party.
"But why?" She questioned.
She heard no answer.
So that Friday came and she was ready to go to the party. She arrived and noticed everyone was there. She saw Lucas standing there ,she held onto Cory's arm tightly. "What's wrong?" Cory asked. "I don't trust him Cory ,he is not a good boy." Sarah said. "Sarah would Jesus judge him like that?" Cory asked. Cory is one of your corrective friends. He is always there to correct you when you are in the flesh or talking nonsense on a rainy day. "Lucas heyy." Cory said.
"Cory what's up?" Lucas said. You walked over to the trash can and hid. "Hey church girl!" Lucas yells. "Hi Lucas." Sarah smiled. "How's the church?" Lucas asked. "Good ,how's the bull?" Sarah asked looking at the black bull. "He's good aren't you boy?" Lucas said talking to the bull. "Happy birthday." Sarah told him. "Thank you." He smiled. Lucas pulled something out of his pocket. It was something that looked similar to a cigarette but it wasn't. "Is that pot?" Sarah yelled. "Sarah keep your voice down." Lucas said. You walked away from him.
"Sarah wait." He said running toward you. "What's wrong?" He asked. "Lucas you know that's something I used to struggle with!" She yelled.  yelled. "Sarah I forgot I'm sorry." Lucas said. "You forgot." Sarah laughed. "Cory can you take me home please?" She asked him. "Sure." Cory replied. He went to the car but it wouldn't crank. "Sarah it won't crank." Cory said. "It won't crank?" Sarah asked panicking. "No. Seriously Lucas that's not cool we're going home i hope you enjoy your birthday." Cory told Lucas. "Guys I want you both to stay." Lucas said. "Is everything okay?" A police officer asked. "Yes sir." Cory told him. "We're just having some car trouble." Cory said. "Is that Marijuana?" The officer questioned. "Crap." Lucas said stepping on the bud. "You're underage . I'm sorry but we're gonna to have to take you in for that." The officer said. "Come on." Lucas said. The officer handcuffed Lucas and took him to jail. "Cory will you pray with me?" Sarah asked him. "Of course." Cory smiled. "Father God we come to you today thanking you for everything that you do God we know that you gave a plan and a purpose for Lucas's life lord so please keep him safe as they send him in lord let his parents bail him out and lord please let our car start in Jesus name I pray ,Amen." Cory prayed. "Thank you Cory." You said. "Let's try it again." Cory said. "Sarah it started." Cory smiled. "Thank you God." Cory said. So he drove you to his place and asked your parents if y'all could spend the night. So you both stayed up praying and worshiping Jesus. Hoping that Lucas would be okay ,and Cory prayed that his little brother would come to Jesus and get saved. "Sarah he won't even come to church with me." Cory said. "Cory ,you have to keep praying for him that is what it takes ,my mother prayed for my father for twenty years before he came to the lord but he still came to him." Sarah told him. "Yeah but he's always out partying and I just don't want him to get hurt." Cory said. "Cory ,it's okay he will come around it might take longer than it did with you." Sarah told him. "But what if it's too late Sarah." Cory cried. "I wanna see him some day even when I'm with Jesus." Cory said. "Cory look at me keep praying ,anxiety is simply from not trusting him. That's the word." Sarah said. Cory sighed in relief. "You're right I'm sorry." Cory said.
As you began to pray you began to feel closer and closer to God so you didn't stop praying. Never stop praying.
