This was inspired by the queit drak, and lonely, foggy, and scary drive home from Topeka one night... I hope you guys enjoy. It is weird but most of my poems are.

Accident
I drove down this road
A hundred times before.
Tonight though, it's different.
Headlights that pop over the hill
Are brighter then before
The wind, is harder then before.
Soon there isn't a light in sight
No wind at all,
Just silence.
I decide some music would lighten my mood.
I choose classical tonight.
No cars, no wind, no sound but mine.
I got to comfortable, my music to good.
Now I pay the price.
I flung off into the ditch, deep into the woods.
I hit a tree.
I die.
An accident was prone.
An accident.
Now on that road, there's always some one
To keep this from happening.
Her name, Angel, me.
I watch everyone and always make a sound.
So next time you're on a road,
Lonely, quiet, dark.
Ask for help and a cricket will chirp.

PoetryThis is abook of poems that I have written. Last year, I became addicted to poetry. It speaks when you can't. I thank my English teacher for making us have a whole month of poetry in 8th grade. I just love it. Hope you enjoy.
