I liked the book. The pace is a bit fast and at times a bit confusing. I would have liked it if there was an introduction to the characters. The prologue was really good though. It makes the reader want to read more of it.

I really loved the book! It was awesome. The pace was slow and easy to follow. The way you described the scene was awesome. It was soo detailed that it helped the reader to imagine it perfectly. The quotes at the starting of the chapter gave a really nice feel of the chapter.

The book was good. I would like a quick introduction to the characters. Though it's the second book. as you stated it can be read independently, so a quick introduction would make it less confusing. But overall it's a nice book.
