Jungwoo came straight to his dorm and flopped himself on the bed. Thinking back, it's like he gave up on Jaehyun when he didn't even try.
Huh....it's even a blessings for me to just watch him playing soccer let alone thinking about confession. Observe from far away...only then I'll be able to get rid of this quickly.

He's so sure of himself that he'll be able to get rid of his feelings for Jaehyun if he just keep a distance between them but what he doesn't know is that it'll only be the cause to like him more. The feeling everyone has experienced once in their lifetime, the feeling where you just watch your crush playing soccer or just watching him doing anything but even if it's just nothing, you'll notice yourself falling harder.
After washing off his lazy ass, he came out from the bathroom and saw Mark's Kakao talk asking Jungwoo to meet him at the cafe near their college. "Ahh....just when I want to rest." He dragged himself out of his room and waited for Mark. Jungwoo is kind of a punctual kid and so, he arrived earlier than Mark and decided to wait for him.
"Oh, sorry. I didn't keep you waiting, did I?" Not wanting to rant on him, Jungwoo just nodded his head in approval.
"So, what's the rush?"
Mark, "About the festive season in college, can you like come and help those seniors? They asked me to request a few students to help them as they're a bit lacking. Moreover, we have that college coming to ours, so our seniors didn't want to look lackey. And you know, you can organise things neatly. You came in my mind first."
Jungwoo just listened to Mark and he knows the rivalry between the two college, so he didn't want his college to look like they're lacking. "Btw, have you asked that first year student, Haechan?" Out of nowhere, Jungwoo brought up Haechan which caused Mark to tense up a bit. He knows that something is there between Mark and Haechan but Mark just did not want to mention it.
"Well, I did but he said that he got a ton of assignment as their teacher didn't just want them to enjoy the festival and to chip in their studies too. He'll come, I guess."

Jungwoo looked up and nodded his head, "Well, I guess you don't need to. There he is with his usual friend circle."
Not gonna lie, Jungwoo slightly saw Mark smiling at Haechan but he pretended that he didn't see it as it'll embarrass the younger sitting in front of him.
"Taeyong hyung and some of his friends will be coming here too. I called them, so that I can introduce you and Haechan to them."
Jungwoo thought that Mark really knows how to handle these kind of situation. He is a friendly kid and most of the students know him too. Jungwoo also didn't want to awkward with their seniors and he thought that it's a good thing that Mark called them here before actually starting their work.

"Oi, Lee Minhyung." Someone called Mark and saw Taeyong standing behind him. "Yo, hyung." He got up and hugged the other guy.
"Hyung, I brought a friend of mine since you asked me to request some students and you know he's the type that you'll like. Hyung likes those who keep things neat and tidy." Mark just smiled at Taeyong and introduced Jungwoo to Taeyong.
"I think I have seen you somewhere." All of a sudden, Taeyong pointed his hands to Jungwoo and the latter seems to recognise him too. Why not? He has seen Taeyong with Jaehyun one too many times. But, he didn't judge Taeyong because he's too nice for a human being. His boba eyes can make anyone fall for him and maybe that was the reason why Jaehyun fell for him.
"Nice to meet you. I have seen you on soccer field." Taeyong kinda blow up Jungwoo's secret there. He just went there to watch Jaehyun but who would have known that Taeyong took notice on him?
"Hi, I'm Kim Jungwoo." Mark was so surprised that Jungwoo actually introduced to Taeyong like formally.
"Yah, why so formal? Feel free with me. I'm not that typical senior who would pick on their juniors just because they don't introduce them like you did just now?"

Taeyong put his hands on Jungwoo's shoulder and patted him on his back. "But hyung, where are the others? I thought you would be coming with Yuta hyung."
Just then, Yuta entered with the person that Jungwoo has been crushing on, Jeong Jaehyun. Jungwoo tensed up seeing him and that didn't go unnoticed by Mark. He nudge Jungwoo's hand and whispered, "He's Jaehyun and he's kinda popular too. Beware not to fall for him."
Jungwoo did fall for him but he like gave up on him.
"He's Mark's friend, Jungwoo." Taeyong introduced Jungwoo to them. "Well, I know him before you guys did." And Yuta sat down besides Jungwoo.
"Oioi, Yuta!! You are so brave." Taeyong teased him and Yuta just winked at him. "I'm brave in this kind of thing and he's cute too, don't you guys think so?"
Jungwoo slightly turned red and the group teased him even more.
"Nakamoto Yuta and Nakamoto Jungwoo."

Taeyong interrupted them as he felt that Jungwoo looked uncomfortable.
"Let's just start discussing what we came for, huh? You can do other things afterwards."
Taeyong organised the works and assigned them to individuals. Was God on Jungwoo's side or is He actually playing games with him? He was in the same group as Jungwoo and it was just Jaehyun and him.
"Well then, that's it. I guess." All of them got up and parted their ways. "Um... actually, I didn't get to introduce myself. I'm Jeong Jaehyun. Nice to meet you."
"I'm Kim Jungwoo. Nice to meet you too."
And that's how Kim Jungwoo knew that he'll fall for Jaehyun more. But he also knew that he needs to get over him. He didn't want to interrupt something that has already been in the progress. He won't deny the fact that he liked to be with Jaehyun but it may cause some trouble between the two of them, so he needs to keep the distance that he always wanted to.

Get a hold of yourself, Kim Jungwoo. Even if you like it, you need to think about others too. It's not that you'll come in between them but don't make them feel it that way.

And that's how he convinced himself to not be with Jaehyun if not for work.
