My name is Rosella Caravelle. Most call me Rose. I recently moved into a strange town with many of my belongings. Such as this journal I'm writing in. A group of the villagers had examined me and lead me to my home. One villager was older than the rest, and was the self-proclaimed "head of village". He informed me that there is a curfew at 8:00 PM. Nobody is to be out after that time due to mysterious disappearances in the village. Most were calculated to disappear after 8:30. I was slightly alarmed about moving into this village upon hearing that, but it's a cozy place. I have a decently-sized house, and the villagers offered me plenty of food and drink. I couldn't say no. They all are so nice. Well... most of them, anyways. There's one villager that strikes me as off putting, and he shies away from the rest. While the others seem to travel in big groups, this one tends to stay far away from the civilians. His dull.. dark red fur blew in the wind as I noticed his presence. He looked away as soon as we made eye contact. He has one eye. The other was covered with a crudely placed bandage. I don't think his wound was healed properly as the bandage was soaked in his blood. Again, he was very off putting. He was freakishly thin, had bags under his only eye, and wore torn navy-blue pants? Shorts? No clue. His rib cage was visible through his skin. I didn't like looking at him at all. So I turned away and focused on the rest of the village. They all had non-dull colors for their fur, and were well fed. Unlike the scrawny one-eyed one. There were four other villagers. Though, I'm not certain they are considered part of the villagers but the civilians seem to treat them as equals. So why shouldn't I? There were four of them. A big, purple one with a triangular areal upon his head; another big one, but slightly shorter, this time in green. He has a stick areal on his head; A smaller one that's yellow. She's very outgoing. Her areal was a weird curl; and finally, the shortest of the bunch. She's a vivid red and has a circular areal. She's more shy than the other three, but is very tomboyish. And all the villagers love them. Well, enough of my rambling. It's almost 8:00 now and I should be heading inside. I'm very curious about what makes the villagers go missing at night. I want to find out.
