lazy day

"I-i" I didn't say anything else, just kinda got lost... I couldn't see what was going on. I couldn't hear. I couldn't nothing. I tried to focus on breathing. I felt something soft underneath me. The bed?
"Kady it's okay. Me and Alex will make sure lil man's okay we will even stay the night. For a few night. He will not hurt you. And promise me when I say that if he does he will be dead. You are like a sister to me and Alex would kill him." All I could do was nod, and I managed a few words

"Don't leave me."

"I won't. Kady I won't leave you. I promise. I will still be here, I'm going to check on little man okay. If anything happens scream. It'll be okay. " I just nodded. I still didn't really know what was going on. I felt numb, I felt scared. I felt someone grab my face.

"Kady look at me" it was Matt. I was even more scared now.

"I don't know what you and Gabby were talking about but please listen."
He stopped for a second.
"I won't leave, I'm here. And. I love you. And I mean it. I mean it Everytime I say it."
He held my face still. And I couldnt talk but I seen his tear stained cheeks.
"I love you." He spoke again
"Please don't leave me" he looked down at me "because I don't wanna leave you." I felt light headed.

"Kady. Kady. Hey don't pass out on me please"

I felt him pick me up, and I went kinda limp. I was still in shock. I wanted him to help me so badly.

"Kady it's okay. I will take care of you. Let's go for a drive. I wanna show you something. Gabby and Alex are watching Lil man." All I did was nod, and he held me closer and I heard Gabby's voice

"She's not okay. Do not hurt her. I will find you and it won't be good."
I didn't see anything. But heard Alex gasp. And then next thing I knew I was in the passenger seat of his car. And we were driving. I looked around. I could see the scenery.

"Baby it's okay. I got you. You wanna go window shop?"
I shrugged. I was falling into a major depressive episode and wasn't sure what to do. I could just feel it.

"It's okay I got you." The car stopped and we got out. We were infront of dress shops. There was fancy ones, like prom, and just some nice ones, some wedding ones. One in the window, I loved it. But I didn't dare say. He helped me out and helped me walk, we went in and he held me up, he whispered something to the person, I couldn't hear but i seen them go stand guard at the front door. I felt safe? I looked around. And he looked down at me
"I'm gonna use the bathroom, you can looks at whatever you like, I'll be right back I promise."

He left my side. And I seen him go to the back of the store. I walked around. And ended at the wedding dresses. I sat on one of the benches and let tears run. I missed him. I did. But he was gone. Like gone. Gone. Locked up for life. I had a kid and my life was good. But this dress looked exactly like the one he got me. Exactly like it. I got up and looked at the tag. It was ...... I went wide eyed and traced the back lace. How did they get my dress. It even had the tag he put in it. Then I seen Matt. He came up to me.
"What's wrong?" He looked down at me.
"This is my dress" and he looked at me confused and I pulled him over to the tag
"I haven't told you or anyone. But I guess I kinda got a lot of explanation to do but Im ready to explain but I can't leave without this." He looked at me and didn't hesitate. He motioned for them to grab it.

"Ah, good choice. This was brought in by someone named lacy, she said it was in her brother's closet and she didn't know why. But it couldn't be there when he got home."

"H-home?" I just kinda looked
Gravy just looked at me and I looked up, and hugged him, crying into him, he held me and rubbed my back. I know he didn't understand. But he seen the tag. He knew that that was my dress.

"Come on baby let's get your dress home and out of a box." He rubbed my back. We got in the car and before we started driving I looked at him.
"I was in highschool. I-hes not the best person but he isn't coming home. He's locked up for life. And it's just because his so called buddies" he just looked at me and listened.

"I was in highschool" I sighed and looked at him "i-you don't even understand how much this means to me. But I guess I have a few calls to make."  He looked at me and kissed me
"Let's go pack." Is all he said and drove home. He helped me out
"Can we fuck with them please?" He looked at me and I nodded and smiled for the first time in hours.

I nodded and he leaned down and kissed me again and I smiled and giggled
"I love you."

We walked in and he brought the box to our room and Gabby walked in and gasped. He walked out and she just looked at me.

"Kady what the fuck? Did you get married before me?!" I giggled and said yes but shook my head no. I knew Alex was listening, when I heard him run down the stairs and scream. Gabby looked at me, and closed the door.

"It's mine tho... And I need you to do me a huge favor. And watch little man for a week."

"Okay, I will just let me see that dress." She giggled and I smiled and got it out,

"That's the one you told me Danny got you?!"

I nodded and pulled her to it showing her the tag.

"This is my dress. Like this is the one he made me. Like it's not a copy. This is the one."

"Oh my god. How did he find it?"

"He didn't. He didn't know nothing of it. Still don't really. I'm still shocked. We were just in a dress shop, he went to go to the bathroom and I looked around and that's when I seen it. And I thought he did it. I though that you told him, but when I told him it was mine, he kinda froze. Then I showed him the tag and he didn't hesitate. I need to show him, I need to explained. I have so much to tell him. Where do I begin?" She looked and me and helped me get it hung up in my part of the closet where it was protected.

"From when you met Danny."

"Really? There's so much, do I tell him about how Danny showed me the wild side of life."

"Yes kady. Do not leave anything out."

"Gabby. He told me to pack...."

"He what?!" She looked at me

"Yeah, I don't think he ment in the get out of my life way. I think he ment he's going to take me to Danny. But I'm still confused."

She locked the bedroom door and set my suitcase out.

"Come on. Now." She smiled and I put socks, bras, underwear, soaps in and she chose my outfits. And shoes. I was so happy I had her. She put it in the closet zipped up

"Now. I'm sure your boytoy is pulling mines leg still so act the part" she giggled and took one of the rings I had that was simple and put it on my finger. We fixed my hair and she giggled and ran downstairs with me. Matt looked any me and smiled, Gabby looked and rubbed her hands together evily.

"Where Alex?"

"He went to get "fresh air" because "your a married man"" Matt busted up laughing

"Fuck yeah kady we got this" Gabby said and pulled me with her

"Be back" I said and giggled, she pulled me to Alex and showed him my "wedding ring" he looked at it and looked at me
"You let Matt give that one to you? Oh do I have some words." Alex pushed past us and to Matt. Me and Gabby followed Matt shook his head when he seen us, but he smiled and played along for a minute before we all spoke

"Nah we fucking with you" Gabby said and I laughed and took the ring off

"It's a quarter ring" I laughed and Matt came and hugged me

"Don't try and get me killed again, I didn't like that" he laughed and kissed me I smiled happily and then he looked at me

"Did you pack a suit case? Because we have placed to go?"

Gabby spoke for me
"Yes and I'm watching Lil man and there's nothing you can say that'll change my mind. "
