CHAPTER TWENTY-THREE

Cassandra's Point of View

"Twelve midnight, Finally, Happy legal age, mi amor. May the excitement of the fact that it is your birthday brighten your day, I love you."

It's Alfred's simple message for me it was sweet and it's posted at exactly twelve midnight and it's already been posted on his instagram account with our picture together at our favorite place... the Park.

"Thank you. Good night and see you, Love." I replied. He greeted be through our call.

We had a brief talk, lovely and naughty, and made plans for tomorrow before falling asleep although our phone call was still not disconnected.

Around eight o'clock in the morning, I awakened. I checked my phone, and it was beeping, but not because of a phone call, but because of a large number of messages and tagged posts notifications from Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and even Snapchat.

I didn't have much time to read it all since Alfred and I had planned to go to church and pray for at least a few moments.

When it comes to picking me up here at our house, Alfred was never late, but instead he was always early because he stated he could always wait for me and spend my time so I could dress up so perfectly to look more gorgeous and attractive.

Saturday has arrived. Time goes by far too quickly. I was just handing out invitations to my friends and fellow classmates on Thursday.

Of course, I included my best friends and Alfred's buddy, but I was annoyed because of Endrix's request. He'd want me to invite his cousin. He even told me he's in blame if she ever does something with my debut celebration.

I decided to go downstairs and looked around to see what was now going on. They're all busy for the preparation. They arrived earlier in the morning to begin preparing everything, from the venue to the foods and drinks.

My eighteenth birthday will be celebrated here in our mansion, and the number of visitors is completely efficient for the scale of our place.

I'll be throwing an after party celebration at poolside of the mansion, the pool was prepared now and it has some Ball pond floating in the water, pool filled with little multicolored ball pond generally no larger than three inches.

Five o'clock was the estimated time of the visitors' arrival and around six o'clock the birthday celebration will be started.

It's all been settled and I have nothing to worry about. For guests, each chair has a name, so the know where should they sit.

From my gown to the theme, the foods, the wines preferred for each individual in the party, and lastly the hard liqour for the after party located by the poolside of the mansion.

After taking a look around the venue, I decided to go upstairs to prefer myself for a 'quickly birthday plan' with Alfred, I immediately walked toward the bathroom because anytime soon Alfred will be arrived here.

I also noticed Alfred's missed calls and messages, he messaged he's now waiting to his car in front of the mansion.

I chose to wear our couple shirt with pair of blue fitted jeans and white sneakers. Its just simple plane shirt na may nakalagay lang na surname of him sa gawing kaliwa ng dibdib. Alfred's surname, Cassano.

I immediately opened my door and about to stepped out but then I was looking to my phone's screen when I bumped into a hard thing. When I looked up, I saw Alfred, and the hard thing I bumped in was his chest.
