"Bye Nick! I love you!" I yelled. I had a tear fall down my face and so was he. He pulled out of the driveway and I walked inside. I saw my neighbors going back into their apartments as well. I said hello and set my stuff inside my place.
But all of a sudden, I woke up. In my room, with my phone still on the text from Tyler.
I picked my phone up and glanced at the message.
It didn't matter to me anymore. Tyler was the least of my concerns. Where was Nick? What have I been doing for two weeks? I felt tears start to appear in my eyes. All of those memories and times I had spent with him, were just a figure of my imagination.
I glanced at the time to see it was 3:58 A.M. It was Saturday. I picked my phone up quickly and went to messages.
I was about to reread my messages with Tyler, but I got a notification.
It was from Twitch. It read,
"Sapnap is live! just wanted to catch up with you guys, missed you a lot! come join!"
My finger quickly tapped the notification and loaded twitch. I saw Nick's face and I smiled. There he was, the man I just had just thought I was living with.
"I have an announcement, you guys!" He laughed, "I'm going to Vidcon! So buy your tickets ASAP and wear your merch!"
With his stream in the background, I quickly went to safari. I wanted to see him.
I pressed the search button and it lead me to a page with tickets. I saw that the date was five days away. But it was across the country in California and the tickets were expensive.
90 dollars for a three-day ticket and meet and greet.
45 dollars for a single-day ticket.
I know I don't have the money.
I don't have the time.
But I proceeded to buy the 90 dollar ticket.
I quickly got a notification from my bank.
"You have a balance of $2.17"
Shit.
