I ignored what they said and stayed pressed against it.

"We need to take you to him."

"Who's him?!"
I shouted back.

There was a slight pause until he spoke again,
"Your father."

Reluctantly I got off of the door and slowly opened it. I glanced through the crack and saw a different masked man.
This one had a square.

"We won't hurt you."

"How can I know that? I saw they had guns."

"They have guns to protect you. We've been ordered to watch and protect you as you stay here."
"It's your father's orders."

I was hesitant, but I felt like I could trust them a bit more, so I opened the door all the way.

"Okay, I trust you."

He nodded his head and turned around.

"Follow me."

I closed the door and began to follow him.
As I walked behind the square guy, the other two stayed behind me.

After what seemed like forever of taking turns and going through the doors, we finally made it to an elevator.
We all got in and it began to go
up.

Once it got to it made it to the final level, the doors opened and in front of us was a couch with a man sitting on it.

"Sir she's here."

"Thank you, you can leave now and wait outside."

They nodded their heads and left back through the elevator. Once they were gone
the man got up from his couch and when he turned around,

"Dad!"

I ran over to him and hugged him.
He hugged me back and smiled.

"I was surprised when you said you were coming this year."

I let go and looked up at him.

"Yeah, well, I thought about it for a few months and it's not like I can stop what you're doing. As long as I'm not in any part of it I'm fine."

He chuckled.
"That's one way to look at it."

"Well, also if I didn't mom and Jack would get suspicious of you and me."

"Smart girl, I taught you well."
He said putting his hand on my shoulder

"Yeah, no need to be impressed." I
joked.

"Anyway, the games should be starting soon. Would you like to watch it with me?"

I shook my head, declining his offer.
"No thanks. I'd rather not see people die."

"But you enjoy horror movies, don't you?"

"I do but those people aren't dying, and in this they are."

He just shrugged.
"Whatever suits you."

I then pointed at the elevator
"So do I just go back into the elevator or?"

"Wait up here I'll call them up to get you."

He then pulled out a walkie-talkie and spoke into it. Then after about
a minute, the doors opened, and out stepped the 3 men.

"See ya later dad," I said as I walked
into the elevator. As the doors closed I saw him go back to sitting on his couch.

The way back to my room was quiet like last time. I was about to open the
door to my room when the square man opened it for me.

"If you need anything, I'll be out here."

I gave a small smile.
"Thanks."

I walked in and he closed the door.
Once it was shut, I flopped onto the queen-size bed. I then glanced around the room.
It seemed too empty. The plain
grey walls and very few
decorations made it seem hollow.

"Hmm, I wonder if any of my old stuff is here from his house?"

I started to look everywhere in the room and I found nothing.
I was about to give up when I thought of looking under the bed.

I got onto my hands and knees and peered under the bed.
A sly grin formed on my face
when I saw multiple boxes sitting next to each other.

One by one I pulled each out.
As I opened the first one I saw my PC set.

"Aww sweet I totally forgot that I had this."

I grabbed the box and set it
on the desk.
Onto the next box.
Once I had gotten the tape off I saw that inside was my old wall collages and a Polaroid camera.

"Holy shit how the hell did he find that, I thought I lost that years ago!" I blurted in amazement.

As I removed the camera underneath
it was the small booklet that held the printed-out photos. I quickly grabbed that and opened it.
Memories flooded right into my
mind.

"Well, shit this stuff is about to make me cry."

I then gently placed both
items onto my bed.

"I'm definitely going to take photos this year."

I then took out all of the collages
and placed them on the floor
by the wall.
I then repeated the process with the other boxes, taking out and placing them in spots around my room.

I pushed the empty boxes back under my bed and stood up.

"Alright, let's get started."
