"Fine, if you won't leave then I will." He started opening up the bedroom window to crawl out to the roof when Fjord stopped him.

"Hey there, you ain't goin' anywhere. We're sorry for laughin' alright?" Caleb refused to meet either of their eyes, arms crossed.

"I'm not. That was priceless. From now on when I get sad, all I gotta do is think of that. So thanks."

Caleb ran a hand down his burning pink face before hiding behind it. "Bitte Molly, just get the fuck out. Both of you. I honestly can't deal with your shite right now," he spoke quietly, barely containing his embarrassment and subsequent anger that came with it. Ah, gingers and their tempers.

"Oh alright fine! I'm sorry, there ya happy?" Molly asked. Caleb only cocked his head to look at him.

"No. Auf wiedersehen gentlemen," he shoed them out the door, but thankfully Fjord was strong enough to prevent him from closing it.

"We're not leavin' until we know you're not still pissed at us."

"In that case you'd be spending the night in here, which I won't allow," he said curtly, trying to close it once more. However, Fjord shoved his boot in the way, pushing it open.

"I'm serious. What kind friends would we be if we just left ya to stew in anger?" he asked.

"Better ones than you're being right now, that's for damn sure," he grumbled, folding his arms across his chest. Molly feigned a hurt expression, placing one hand across his heart.

"Surely you don't mean that," he said, tone attempting to sound placating. Caleb looked at him, eyebrows high on his forehead. If you squinted, it looked like he was fighting off the tug of a smile.

"Right now I do." Molly smirked, wagging a finger at him.

"No you don't. You might have Fjord fooled but not me."

"He doesn't," said man piped up, sandwiching Caleb between them. "I saw that look too. You think we're amusing."

"Wrong, I think you're both incredibly annoying and rude for barging in like that and then mocking me."

Molly threw a hand up in the air. "In our defense, you make yourself very mockable," he said as if it were a fact.

"You know you really aren't helping your case," he hummed, cocking his head to the side and sporting a smirk.

"Then why're you smilin'?" Fjord asked slyly. Caleb immediately schooled his features back into a stern expression.

"I'm not."

"But you were. An' I think we wanna see it again, right Molly?"

"Oh definitely. Like you said, we gotta make sure he's not holding a grudge against us," Mollymauk agreed. They both advanced and Caleb took a step back, falling onto the bed. Frumpkin meowed and jumped out of the way, curling up on a pillow and making biscuits.

"Nein. I know what you're planning and just- nein. This isn't happening," he said, unable to stop the quirk of his lips. He scooted back on the bed until he reached the wall, tucking his legs up to his chest.

"Then why don't you fill us in, since you're so smart an' all," Molly teased, crawling onto the bed on all fours. Fjord sat down more casually.

"Yeah Caleb, what are we gonna do to you?" Fjord asked in a smug tone. Caleb's blush had been starting to fade, but upon their teasing, the color returned to his cheeks.

"Oh no, I'm not falling for that again," he said. With each passing second, his flustered grin grew wider.

"And just what are you not falling for?" Molly asked, propping his chin in his hand innocently.
