Sam's POV

Her voice drifted through the bunker like a distant almost memory. Rising and falling like a melodic breeze. Her laugh sounded like sunlight and her smiling at you felt like she knew something no one else could possibly know. When she brushes your hand sparks are sent through your entire body.

"Sammy?" She asked standing in the doorway. She was leaning against the doorway wearing the sweatshirt you had given her on the last hunt. God, she was so gorgeous.

"Yeah? What's up?" You say coming out of your trance and looking up from the book you were pretending to read.

Your POV

His eyes my God, were going to miss those eyes. They were soft and loving and looked like hope. His smile made you feel like you would always be safe and nothing could hurt you.

"I-I went to the doctor today." You barely stammered out the words. Tears started to well up in your eyes. Get to the point you told yourself.

"(Y/N), is there something wrong!?"

You couldn't take it anymore. It was to damn much. Little droplets rolled down your face as you ran strait into his arms, strait home. His shirt was clenched in your fists as you both sank to the floor. Sobs raked your body as he pulled you closer to his side stroking your back.

"It's not fair! This wasn't meant to happen!" You screamed. Thank God Dean was at the bar you did not want him to see you like this.

Sam's POV

Her crying tore you apart inside. It wasn't how they describe devistation in books. You could almost feel your bones separating and your muscle tearing like some kind of painful dance.

Your POV

You could see the dark now creeping in the edges of your vision. As another scream ripped your throat you felt Sam hold you tighter.

You tried to speak in between shaky breaths. "M-my my optical nerve i-it. Sammy, I'm going blind. One day I'm going to wake up and it will all be gone. This wasn't meant to happen! I went through hell to stop this and it still-it still happened."

"Shhh. (Y/N), how did this happpen?" You could hear the confusion in his voice. You knew he was trying to be strong. Dammit Sammy always trying to be strong. Always with those eyes.

**Time Skip**

It was a Monday morning, of course it was a Monday. Your alarm went off with your eyes still squeezed shut you hit the snooze button. You opened your eyes and understood. It finally happened. Everything was gone. You would never be able to see Sam again. Slowly you lifted your bedside .22 to your heart. At least you didn't need your eyes now. At least the gun was in your hands. It was an okay way to go out. At least Sam would have to find someone else. At least you got to choose. Besides what was the point?

Then with a deafening shot you were slipping away, you heard footsteps. It was Sam, of course it was Sam. He came bursting through the door. "Remember me, Sammy."

Sam's POV

Remember me. Those were always the haunting words in the back of your mind. She was smiling when she went, that little secret smile of hers. I guess this is how she was always meant to be. An almost memeory of an almost person full of almost regrets. Now she could be who she was, a breath of maybe and recuring knowledge. If anything when she was gone she was more. Remember her? How could I forget?
