Maybe you wondered why I came in this situation with this human girl, right. After I saw her that day, i followed her. I saw that Martians was stunned with just the sight of her. They sometimes stand and petrified, others accidentally drop anything they carry and the worst they passed out. I don't know what's wrong with them. But I knew for sure she was the most beautiful creature ever walked on Martian lands.

She has that perfect curve in that sleeveless dress she wore. She came forth into a spot where the sun shone brightly and the world began moving slow. She was glittering and illuminating.

But she suddenly pivoted backwards then ran full speed towards my direction. I was intrigued why she would run. Then I saw her looking at me while she was nearing. She then grabbed my shirt and pulled me while she's running.

"WAITTTTT...." I shouted.

"Just run!" she yelled.

I ran with her. We shove people aside just to make a clear way. It was exhilarating but my adrenaline surges up. I don't know what was chasing us but she was running and I must too.

We turned into a silent alley on the street. We hid behind a broken refrigerator that was thrown there.

I recovered my breath. She was sweating and her hair messed up. She picked her hankie in her pocket. I felt a little embarrassed because of the fact that I offered her my hankie not knowing she had one. She then pulled back her hair exposing her beautiful face, and tied it with the handkerchief in ribbon style. She was glamorous. My tiring legs slowly recovered and my breathing went to normal after seeing her that way. She looked at me.

"By the way Martian I'm Denise. Sorry for tagging you into this. I just need some help. What's your name?" she said it while catching her breath.

"Miho." I said.

I was looking at her silently. She then looked at me again and the world around us slowly melted away. I saw her smiling it was heavenly. But then a loud slap and I felt a searing pain on my face. The background suddenly turned normal.

"Why are you looking at me like that Martian?" she asked. It was painful. I covered my cheek with my palm and turned towards her.

"What's the matter with you?" I asked angrily.

"Just shut up and don't look at me like that."

We were close as ever squeezing through the small gap behind the refrigerator. I can smell her hair and it smells like flowers blossoming in the gardens. It was a euphoric feeling being beside her. But she suddenly turned to me with a furious glare.

"Don't try anything, you'll be dead."

I smirked and suddenly a commotion outside the street began, people shouting "Humans".

"Oh God they're here!" she said.

"Who..." she muffled my mouth with her soft hands. We buried much more behind the refrigerator.

Suddenly a Marskat appeared in front of us. It's the same with the earthling cat but with a little difference; its tail was of a lizard. It appeared cute at first, bobbing its head side to side but suddenly it growled and advanced toward us startling Eunice into a shout alerting the humans who was following us.

I caught her hand and dragged her much deeper in that dark alley. We ran until we can't feel our legs. We collapse beside a large garbage bag and then we decided to hide in the garbage container. I don't know why the humans were following us. I don't know much of her either. I'm just a victim of bitter circumstances.

A bright light pierced my tired eyes. I woke up with knitted eye.

"Hey kid! What are you doing there?" she was startled. She was an old woman carrying a garbage bag. Maybe she was about to throw it on the container and instead she saw me. I stood quickly and bumped my head on the container lid.

"Ouch!" I exclaimed.

"Hey! He's mine." Eunice shouted from afar. I saw her carrying a bag of sandwiches. She was a mess. Her dress was dirty and she looked like she didn't know what a comb was, the ribbon hankie was sideways. But still, she was beautiful.

"Back off."

"Oh no an earthling!" exclaimed the old woman. She released the garbage bag and fell to her knees.

"I'm so sorry, Madame."

I was amazed on how fast she realizes that Eunice was an Earthling. I was scratching my head and she approached me.

"Are you okay, Miho?" she asked. I heard concern in her voice.

"Get out there now. We need to catch my ship."

I was tired. That sleepless night drained me, checking her every minute just to secure if she's okay. The hours came by slowly as I feel her warm body pressing against me. That feeling was ethereal. I could stay there all my life even with the smell and the dirtiness if she's with me.

We were running down the downtowns of Mons Santarina with my eyes half closed and my right hand locking hers. I can barely see Martians falling down, as we shove them aside in a hurry. Mons Satarina was the Capital City of Callis District. Here, spaceship docks and all human interaction were limited inside this area only. Humans are not allowed to wander outside the capital. With the presence of the Martian bandits, outside journey for humans were too perilous.

"Oh God! No, no, no...." she exclaimed. I saw a ship taking off from the dock. It was freaking huge! It was like x1000 of our cabin. I never saw a ship that huge. It's like the spaceship in an earthling movie Star Trek, the USS Enterprise. It has an insignia with the word "Cromwell". It zoomed, and with a sudden flash of light it was gone. Eunice let go of my hand. She dropped into her knees and buried her face into her palms. I hear her whispering.

"I'm doomed, I'm doomed." And she sobbed.

I don't know what to do or what to say. I was stunned I can't find the right words to say. It took me a while to gain courage.

"Eunice..." then she suddenly stood up, wiped away her tears and smiled.

"Where do you live?" she asked. I was shocked.

"Datex County, Outside the capital."

"I will live with you from now on." I was confused.

"But humans are not allowed outside the capital. You are not safe there." I protested.

"I can handle myself."

She flipped me and the next thing I remember was her face laughing at me.

"Oh lord havens, what did you do?" my whole body ached. I was lying in the concrete.

"That was called the Judo Flip" she said it with such confidence. But behind her eyes I can see the sadness that she just contains. But she was always beautiful. That smile, filthy cute face, torn dress and tainted skin. It convinced me to bring her home.
