Love that Mermaid

Note: This is an AU that Mira swims with a mermaid tail. 

TW: drowning, bleeding, shark attack

Setting: at the beach, summertime

The three kids are hanging out at the beach, having a good time.

Kai: Wanna make a splash?

Mira: Sure.

Adam: OK.

Mira: But, just to let you know that I'll have my mermaid tail if I stay at the water for too long or a minute.

Kai: OK.

They are still having fun and Kai brought their surfboards.

*Time skip to when the attack begin*

Kai: Wow! That was fun surfing with you guys.

Mira: Yeah.

Kai: Race you to the sand!

Adam: Way behind you!

The shark is swimming towards the teens.

Mira: I win!

Kai: No fair!

Adam: Hey, wait for m-

The shark jumped up to attack the kids. Adam tried to use his strength to beat that shark butt. But the shark's too powerful and grabbed Adam by the arm. He screamed, then the shark dragged him to the ocean.

Mira and Kai: ADAM!!!

The blood spilled the ocean a bit and the shark retreated. The fight's over, but Adam's not around.

Kai: We need to save Adam!

Mira: Go, Kai! Call 911! I'll go save him.

Kai: OK!

Kai grabbed his phone and called 911 while Mira gets in the water and dives in. Mira's legs becomes her mermaid tail and searches for Adam. Then, she saw him trying to swim, but his arm and leg got bitten by a shark. Then, he ran out of time and passed out. Mira grabbed him by the chest and swim up. 

Mira: Don't worry, Adam. You are going to be OK.

*Time Skip to the hospital scene*

Adam woke up and notices his arm and leg have been bandaged. 

Mira: Adam! *hugs him*

Kai: Thank goodness you're OK, dude.

Adam: What happened?

Kai: The shark attacked you, you passed out, and then, here you are.

The doctor came in.

Doctor: Oh, you're awake. I told your parents what happened. I believe that your shark wounds will be healed in a few days, so you will stay here until your wounds heal up.

Kai: Aw come on!

Adam: Guys, I'm going to be OK.

Mira: Hey, Adam. Can I talk to you privately?

Adam: Sure.

Kai: OK.

The doctor and Kai left the room.

Adam: OK, what do you want to talk about?

Mira: OK, it sounds weird, but...

Mira: I save you for the shark attack. You tried to swim, but passed out. And I'm the one who swim up and brought you here.

Adam: *slightly blushes* Wow. Thanks, Mira. You're my best friend.

Mira: *slightly blushes* Yep, that's what friends do.

Mira left the room.

Adam: *Mira saved me. I love that mermaid.*
