We turned a corner and heard another loud band. "That thing is nature's greatest klutz."

"Hey, guys!" Rory appeared in front of us.

We jumped. "Rory! What are you doing here?" I asked, surprised by the scare.

"Looking for a snack, what else?" Rory whined.

"We thought you were..." Ethan trailed off as his eyes widened. We then saw the alligator in the door. "That!"

The alligator moved past the door. "Was that an alligator? How was that an alligator?" Ethan questioned.

"I mean, in Whitechapel?" Benny added.

"Uh, guys? Remember that locker search a couple months back?" Rory asked.

"You flushed live alligators?" Sarah and I questioned in disbelief.

"I didn't mean to!" Rory argued. "What? They obviously survived."

"Where did you get them?" Benny asked quickly.

"I thought they were iguanas. When they called the locker raid, I panicked! I thought they'd be safe in there," Rory explained.

"Yeah, 'cause nothing says home like a school toilet," Ethan said sarcastically.

"Yeah, it definitely went this way," Sarah nodded.

"How do you know?" Ethan questioned.

"Vampires have a great sense of smell," I explained calmly.

"It's grown a lot in four months. This is no normal alligator," Sarah stated.

"The potion must've mutated them," Benny added.

"Potion? What potion?" Ethan questioned as I glared at Benny.

"The potion I dumped that day was called Jock Star. It gives you the combined athletic mojo of Sidney Crosby, Kobe Bryant, and a circus dolphin," Benny explained.

"Why does your grandma let you access this stuff?" I sighed.

"I need new friends," Sarah added.

~~~
"I can't believe you were going to take something like that! I'm telling your grandmother," Sarah decided.
"No, no, no! Please don't tell her!" Benny begged.
"Guys! Not now. We're trying to find a huge alligator," Ethan cut off.
I nodded as we heard a growl. We saw a tail go into the next hallway and Ethan jumped. "Don't surprise it. They don't like to be surprised," Ethan hissed.
"Okay." I let out a breath.
"I've already got a bad feeling about this," Benny commented.
"We got it cornered. Let's go." Ethan grabbed my shoulder as we inched toward it.
It growled at us, and we yelped, backing up. "Okay, we don't got it!"
"Rory, get back!" Sarah whispered.
"Rory?! What are you doing?" Ethan asked in disbelief.
"No, let him do it! Or else we'll have to do it!" Benny reasoned.
"Guys! I saw this on The Crocodile Hunter! Help me burrito this thing," Rory said in an Australian accent.
We tackled the crocodile and locked it in a cabinet. We cheered in victory as Rory hugged me.
"That's what happens when you mess with thumbs!" Ethan said.
There was a loud crash. "Okay, I think we made our point," Benny said calmly.
