A figure appears, their footsteps making the sewer water rubble

"Oh , good , good." Nanami looked towards the voice and saw a man with blue hair with stitches on his body

"It'd be a problem if satoru Gojo showed up. But someone too weak wouldn't be worth experimenting on." Mahito smiled

"I don't like working overtime. So let's finish this quickly."

Mahito dashed to nanami , building up cursed energy on both of his fists. Nanami kicked Mahito on his stomach , making him slide back

Nanami used his technique to cut Mahito's arm , but only went halfway through

"I thought I defended properly. Was that some kind of cursed technique?" Mahito asked nonchalantly, while wiggling his almost cut off hand

Nanami stoped and looked at him weapon "what do you mean by 'some kind'? I don't appreciate questions that are open to interpretation." Nanami stated

"Oh good. Seems you don't mind talking. Hey , which do you think same first? The soul or the body?" Mahito asks, nanami looks at him with confusion

"You know. Like the chicken or the egg. Does the soul dwell in the body? Or is the body built on the soul?"

'I guess I'll humor him...' nanami thought , slightly squint his eyes behind his googles

"The former." Nanami asnwered

"Wrong. The answer is the latter. The soul should always exist before the before the body." Mahito said , he raised his hand that was deforming and regenerating back

"The shape of the body will always be dependent on the shape of the soul." Mahito shot him a smile , while nanami stood there , not moving an inch

"I'm not healing. Instead , I'm reinforcing the shape of my soul. You get it now , don't you? My cursed technique can touch and reshape the soul." Mahito explained

"Idle transfiguration."

"I make humans small and store them. An ordinary person eventually dies after being transfigured. But what about a jujutsu sorcerer?" Mahito sparks , holding two small transfigured humans on his fingers

Nanami looks at his watch "it's 5:30 , I started work today at ten , so no matter what...
