The dealer slides the cards out of the deck swiftly, trying not giving our minds time to process the card that was just placed in front of us. I let my eyes wander to the other tables around the room, hearing cheers and groans, and the sound of of chips being dispersed and placed back at the dealer's tray.
I look back down at my own game, 10 and a 6, great. The dealer has a ghost of a smile playing on his lips, he knows what I want to do, but I know that I shouldn't.
My eyes glide around the table, towards the dealers card and I try to think about what might be hiding under that flipped card.
"If you really want to be risky, I'd double down. He has a 7 and there's a chance that he has a face card down there, but most likely not, he's gonna have to hit and it's going to go over." My eyes flicker over to the new voice next to me and I quickly scan him over and slip a smile on my face.
He's taller than my 5'1 frame in 4 inch heals, way taller. His black hair is roughly smoothed back (which was just screaming to having my hands run through it) and he's in a suit that looks like it was tailored just to fit his God like body; his whole appearance just screamed "yes I am a hot guy that has that douche vibe because I actually am one but I can make your legs feel like jelly after rough, kinky, sex." Ya know? ... Just me? No way.
My eyes trail back to my current issue, I'd already made 3 times what I initially brought, why not? I reasoned. I slide over a small stack of one black and two green chips, "looks like I'm gonna have to double down, I think newbie might throw a fit if I don't."
The dealer smiles and slips the card under the new stack, "good luck to ya'," while throwing a pointed glance towards the guy next to me.
The other 3 girls, who seemed very lost and were just going off of what I'd hint at had their turn and it was finally the dealer's turn to flip
Dealer must draw on 16 and stand on 17.
He flips his card and it's a 3. 10. If he hits an ace, I'm done.
He draws and gets a king. 20.
Fuck.

This is currently just a sneak peak since I still need to lay the foundations down, but I had this idea and I really really really like it! I might be making this passage thicker (ie more details/dialogue) but I wanted to shoot this out and ask a few users to take a look and see how they like it. I don't think I've seen a story with this kind of plot line, so if there is, it is 120% coincidential. I went through this, this weekend actually, so no, it was also NOT "copied" from movies, articles, blogs, etc.
