I woke up to the sound of soothing music. It was weird. Moreover, I was in a bed when the last thing I could remember was that I fell asleep in the kitchen. I sat up and a pair of purple headphones fell onto my lap. I looked around me and I noticed it wasn't Chen's room. Well, unless he owns a fancy laptop and a keyboard for composing, I don't think it's Chen's room.

I noticed a little sticky note pasted on the headphones and I quickly read it.

[Do you mind bringing me the headphones and the MP3 to where I work? I didn't wanted to wake you up since you looked cute with them on while you slept.]

I had to reread the last part a few times for it to sink in. *Cute?!* My eyes were the size of an owl's. I walked out the room in a daze with the headphones and MP3 player and I didn't notice Suyeong calling me to the kitchen until she snapped her fingers next to my ear.

"Hey! Earth to Soomi! Help me cook! Or else I'm going to end up burning down the building!" She cried in despair.

I was standing there for a moment, blinking at a Suyeong that disappeared into the kitchen. *Burning down the building?* I thought. My brain clicked. I shoved the MP3 player in my pocket and hung the purple headphones around my neck, remembering that Suyeong was a terrible cook.

"Oh my god." I gasped when I arrived in the kitchen.

It was a mess and Suyeong was running around the kitchen trying to keep everything stable, which didn't really work. I quickly interfered with everything and Suyeong only hugged me and thanked me like it would be the last time she would see me.

"Stop hugging me or you'll make me burn the building instead." I said as I tried prying her off me.

"Oh no you can't burn the building! My ChenChen lives here and he can't be homeless!" She quickly let go of my like I was some disease. "I'll go check on the guys! Make sure you make a hangover soup for them!" She said before disappearing from the kitchen.

"Hangover soup it is... Again..." I sighed, "They don't even have all the ingredients." I sighed once more as I opened the fridge. *Well... They're going to have tomato and celery soup instead... With some... Macaroni* I thought as I scanned the refrigerator.

---------------------------

"Ew... What is this...?" Chen frowned in disgust.

"It's food. Now eat up. I don't promise it won't kill you since you guys keep a lot of spoilt stuff in the fridge." I stated.

"It's actually pretty good. Try it Chen." Luhan said as he took another sip.

The three guys took a sip of the soup and Chen hummed in satisfaction.

"You're really good at cooking Soomi. I didn't think this would taste this good." Chen gestured the macaroni on his spoon.

I shrugged as I took two other bowls for Suyeong and me.

"Hey. What's that around your neck?" Luhan pointed at me.

I reached out to touch around my neck and I remembered that I hung Lay's purple headphones there.

"It looks like Lay's headphones. He has the exact same one. Even the color is the same." Luhan commented. "He never lets anyone touch his so I doubt it's his."

"Oh." I managed to voice out.

I wasn't sure if I should confess that it was actually Lay's, but I kept my mouth shut and decided to play along.

"Where did you get it?" Luhan asked.

"Um... It was... A gift." I answered, wanting him to shut up.

"From who?" He continued asking.

"Someone. You don't need to know." I replied with a little sharpness in my tone. "Suyeong, I'll go first since I have something to do." I said before preparing my stuff and headed out without a goodbye. I felt a little weird, but I shrugged off the feeling.

When I left the building, it took me a while to remember where I had to go exactly. I touched around my neck to make sure I didn't forget the headphones and the MP3 player in my pocket. I put them on and played a random song. I liked the types of music he had even if most of them were in Chinese and I didn't understand much.

While I was enjoying the music, I didn't realize I arrived at a certain cafe. I entered it and I was about to turn off the music when something caught my ears. However, before I could hear it completely, Lay came running over to me and that obliged me to take off the headphones and hang it around my neck.

"I see you were enjoying my music." He chuckled.

"Yes, I did." I giggled.

Suddenly, he wrapped his arms around me and we wobbled, side to side.

"Um... Lay? What's with the... Hug?" I patted his back, unsure of what I should do.

"I missed you." He said.

"Missed?" I quietly said.

"Yeah. I missed you." He repeated cheerfully.

I didn't know what to do, but to stand there patting his back. He wasn't holding me that tightly and I could barely reach his nose with the top of my head. At one point, he pulled away and smiled at me while taking away the headphones around my neck.

"You look cute." He commented.

*Cute? Again?* I looked down in embarrassment. I didn't understand why he kept telling me that I was cute.

"Did you finally realize you didn't change out of your pajama yet?" He chuckled.

"Huh? Pajama?" I said, inspecting what I was wearing, "Oh my goodness! No wonder I felt weird!" I hid my face in my hands.

"It's okay. You look good in whatever you wear." He said again.

"What is that suppose to mean?" I stupidly asked.

Before he could answer, his superior called him. He thanked me for the headphones and the MP3 player before heading back to serve the customers. I heart was racing so fast and I felt so weird hearing so much compliments under five minutes. I watched Lay as he smiled at the customers while bringing them their drinks. He looked like an angel... just like Suho...

I shook my head. I had to get over Suho. However, I've been trying for months already. I didn't know how to forget him. I feel so guilty for not doing anything for him. He was always there when I needed him and I didn't do anything in return. Lay noticed me staring at him and he discreetly waved his phone at me. "Call me later!" He mouthed before continuing his work. I took out my own phone and it suddenly started ringing. I answered it and Suyeong was panicking.

"What's wrong Suyeong?" I asked worriedly.

"T-the ap-p-partm-ment... I-it's... I-it's... Hurry! Please!" She choked out.

I didn't needed her to repeat herself to know something was dead wrong. From the little time I spent with her, I know she would never stutter that much with me. I ran out of the cafe with my phone still glued on to my ear.

"Meet me at the lobby and I'll be there as fast as I can." I said before hanging up.
