Chapter 9 Asgard

Recap: "Heimdall, open the bifrost!" And we were consumed by a bright light.

*Carter's POV*

One second we were on earth and the next we were taken up by a bright light and now we were standing in a huge golden room. When we stopped Aiden and I stumbled a bit. But that was really cool. I look at Aiden and I highly doubt her smile could get any bigger.
"Can we do that again?" She asks excitedly. We heard someone laugh and we looked to the center of the room. There stood a huge guy wearing golden armor.
"Heimdall, this is my daughter Aiden and my niece Carter. Girls this is Heimdall. He is Asgard's gatekeeper." Thor introduces us. I give him a slight smile and a small wave while Aiden mumbles hi.
"Yes, I know who there are. I find Carter's pranks quite amusing. Though she does tend to do things she knows she shouldn't." He tells us. His voice is very deep and kinda intimidating.
"How do you about the things I do?"
"I can see everyone and everything in the past, present, and future all across the universe." Shit! I'll be in huge trouble if he tells them stuff I've done. Though it's nothing real bad. Just sneaking out to go to parties, smoking, and sometimes drinking.
"Cool" Aiden says. He smiles at her.
"The king wishes to see you." He say to Thor.
"Thank you." We walk out of the room and on to a rainbow bridge. I laugh as I watch Aiden staring at all the colors. I look over and see 4 horses. And one of them has 8 LEGS!? Aiden walk over to me.
"Please tell me you see an 8 legged horse too." She whispers. I slowly nod still not believing what I see. Thor and my dad laugh. My dad walks over to it and starts petting it.
"Hello Sleipnir" He looks at me and smiles.
"Carter, this is your brother Sleipnir. Sleipnir you remember her don't you?" He says. Wait, BROTHER!
"Yes I remember her. I has been quite sometime." WHAT THE HELL?!?! They laugh at my confused expression.
"Here on Asgard it is not uncommon for one to have offspring who are animals." My dad explains. Still kinda freaked out.
"Come we must not keep the Alfather waiting." Thor says helping Aiden mount a horse.
"Carter, why don't you ride Sleipnir. And speak with him since you two have not seen each other in so long."
"Uh, ok." I walk over and climb onto the saddle. I've never ridden a horse before and I just found out my brother is one. This place is going to confuse the hell out of me. We continue riding until we stop in front of a golden palace. We jump off the horses and a couple of guys come to lead them to the stables. I say goodbye to Sleipnir and he makes me promise to come see him soon. We walk up the stairs and go inside. We walk down a huge golden hallway. Is everything gold here? At the end of the hallway we see 4 people talking.
"Friends! I come with great news!" Thor yells. They turn to look at us and walk towards us. They greet Thor and glare at Loki.
"What is this great news?" Asks the short fat one.
"With the help of my friends on Midgard I have found my daughter and niece." He point to us.
"This is Aiden and Carter." They stand there shocked. Then they introduced themselves.
"Sif"
"Volstagg"
"Hogun"
"Fandral"
"I must say these two have grown up to be beautiful women. They look just like their mothers." Fandral says. Aiden smiles. She loves getting compliments.
"We must go now my father is waiting for us." We were about to walk away when Sif stops me.
"If you betray or act against us like your father once did I will kill you." She says. She walks away but not before walking into me and hitting me with her shoulder. The warriors three follow her except they don't hit me.
"Well would you look at that. I've been here 45 minutes and I'm already making friends." My father laughs as we continue walking until we stopped in front of two huge doors. Thor opens the doors and we walk in and see an old man with an eye patch sitting on the throne.
"Father." Thor greets him.
"Who are these two you have brought with you from Midgard?" He refers to me and Aiden.
"Father I would like you to meet my daughter Aiden and Loki's daughter Carter." Thor smiles proudly. He stands up and walks towards us.
"Come forward." He tells us. Aiden and I step up and I can tell she's scared. He smiles at us.
"You both resemble your mothers. Tonight we will have a feast to celebrate your return." He turns and walks away.
"Come, let us give you a tour of the palace." Thor says. A guard walks up and removes my father's cuff. Once his hands are free he comes up and hugs me. I hug him back. We let go and we walk out of the throne room. He said he wanted to introduce me to my other brothers.
"How many brothers do I have?" I ask.
"5. There's Jormungandr the serpent. He is the oldest. 2nd oldest is Sleipnir who you've met. Then the twins Vali and Nari. You are 2nd to youngest. The youngest is Fenrir the wolf." Damn. I thought having 1 sister was bad but now I have 5 brothers. And 3 are animals. I look around for Aiden but it seems her and Thor went somewhere else. Then I heard a high pitched scream. A woman covered in gray goo came around the corner. She saw my dad and started yell.
"Your two demons dropped bilgesnipe dung on me!!" I don't know what a bilgesnipe is but I know what dung is. I wanted to bust out laughing but I figured my dad would get mad. He sighs and pinches the bridge of his nose.
"I will take care of it." He tells her and she storms off. When she's gone I start laughing. He shakes his head and keeps walking.
"It appears Vali and Nari have ignored my warning."
"What warning?"
"Before Thor and I went to Midgard I told them not to cause trouble. And apparently they didn't listen."
"I'm guessing they're in big trouble."
"Correct." Great. I'm about to meet my brothers and watch them get in trouble. But then again you can't really blame them. They are the children of the god of mischief. My brothers seem like they are a lot of fun but they're probably gonna get me in trouble. Oh well.
