There I was laying on the floor while blood trickled down my chin. Pain was felt all over my body. All I could was harsh words being thrown to my mother. "you hit Ji-hye, you bastard" I heard my mother yell I could hear her voice cracking. "g-get out of my house right this instant!" right after I heard the front door close. My mother rushed to me she was probably the only one who actually cares about me . "Ji-hye, I'm so sorry". That's when I blacked out.

I woke up in my bed. 'I guess mom put me in my room' I went to my bathroom, i look in the mirror and saw that the blood was gone. I sighed and changed into sweatpants and a crew neck. I climbed out of my window because I didn't feel like seeing my family rn especially my abusive father. I went to a convenient store and got some kimbap and a drink. I sat down on an empty table and unwrapped my kimbap and munched on it. When I was half-way through my kimbap I random guy came up to me and slid and card on my table. Before I could ask any questions he walked away. Underneath a the card was a paper, I unfolded it and read the note. 'If you wish to play a game to win money than dial the number on the card'. I don't really need the money but, what I want to do is to get away from my family. So I dialed the number.

The phone call told me to wait here for a van..? I looked at the time and it was 12:00 the exact time the person on the phone told me the van would come. In 30 seconds a gray van pulled up, he rolled down the window "Ji-hye?" a guy in a black square mask asked "uh yeah" I answered back "code?" He said once again "red light green light" after saying that he opened the car for me once I got in I saw two people passed out. That's when the car started to let out some gas. I passed out.

I woke up on a unfamiliar bed, with a green jumpsuit with the number 69 on it. I looked around as saw hundreds of different people with the same jumpsuit as me but different numbers. I jumped off the bed and walked down the long black stairs. I heard yelling a saw a guy with a number 101 on his suit yelling and hitting a girl with the number 67 on her suit. I couldn't bare to see someone get beat up so I went over and pushed the people out of the way and kicked the 101 guy in the stomach. I held my hand out for the girl but she declined and mumbled a thank you. On the other side the 101 guy grabbed me by my hair and put me on the floor. I then once again kicked him in the stomach. Before he could do anything else people with red outfits and a black square masks came out of a huge metal door.

They were taking about how we all agreed to play this game for money and if anyone wants to leave they could do it right now. "Now please sign a contract" one of the square guy said I didn't realize but I was standing next to the girl from earlier. I looked at her and smiled she gave me a half smile. "Number 69 please sign" I did as I was told and signed the contract. After we all did that they told us the next game was about to start.
