Johnny: Respectfully, dude, that's kind of embarrassing.

Taeil: No, I wholeheartedly agree. Hours upon hours of work just trumped by a single file. But, with my appearance here, we'd like to put the public on high alert. As I mentioned, it seems every target has had something to do with vigilantes. If you or anyone you know of may have had even the smallest contact with one, please come to the 127 Precinct right away and we'll get you under surveillance. If our timeline is right, the Charlatan will announce his next list tonight. As of right now, six of seven of the Charlatan's previous list have been left unaccounted for with the actor Han Jisung under heavy surveillance. Please take this matter seriously. The precinct is investigating the three missing cases and proper arrangements are being made for the deceased.

Mark: It's actually really scary, just recently we found out that we knew a number of vigilantes and now everyone's freaking out. According to what we dug up, we found that even if you did so much as take a video of a vigilante you'd be put in immediate danger, which was the case for Kang Taehyun, and now he's missing among others.

Johnny: Wait, wait, so not to be that person but... Mark and I literally center this podcast around vigilantes, so does that put us in danger too?

Taeil: Well... have you had any actual contact with one?

Mark: No.

Johnny: You said that a little too fast, Mark.

Mark: Aw, man, not now, dude. This Charlatan stuff is freaking me out, I know a ton of people who've gotten autographs from vigilantes and taken pictures with them. I mean, they're freaking vigilantes for god's sake, if I saw Spades or something in broad daylight I'd want to take a photo too... And even with this podcast, we do a lot of research on vigilantes. Isn't that similar to interacting with them in a way?

Taeil: It could be a possibility. Truth be told, your podcast is always being talked about. Some of the officers use your podcast to do research themselves... or so they say. A lot of your episodes have been very helpful to us.

Johnny: Whoa, seriously? Our podcast is being used for official investigations... whoa. Sorry, that's insane to think about. Also, kind of ironic. We made the podcast for vigilante loves, but the ones who are looking for them listen to them too.

Taeil: I agree, to be fair, a lot of the information you say on this podcast was already public knowledge. You just add your input and here we are. But, I think we should further explain the nature of this emergency episode.

Johnny: Right, yeah. We originally put together this emergency episode at the request of the precinct. They know and we know that we have a huge following of people who are interested in vigilante affairs. To repeat what we said earlier, please contact your local police department, they are operating under direct orders to keep civilians safe. As of this week, there were three reported sightings of a "Charlantan-Like" figure.

Mark: One in the Halzer District, two in the Shardelow District, and one in the Bamford District. There is now an official sketch of the "Charlatan" being posted on FaceBook, Reddit, Twitter, and other socials. Please be on the lookout, as there have been sightings in other countries as well. If you see anyone with a Thalia mask on and wearing all white, head to your nearest police department and do not engage.

Taeil: Yes, please do, it's for your safety. We're doing our best to track down the movements of the Charlatan, but we'll need public assistance as well.

Mark: If you don't mind, I see this question popping up a lot in chat, mind if you confirm something for us, Mr. Moon?

Taeil: Go ahead.

Mark: Is it possible that Cypher and the Charlatan are one and the same?

Taeil: Well... we haven't ruled it out as a possibility. With Cypher's abilities and range, it would come as no surprise if they were similar.

Johnny: But then why the video?

Taeil: Exactly! Why the video? Maybe it was to throw everyone off their guard, or...

[TN: The transmission started to get garbled here, there was some interference with the mics and the sound output, then someone took over the sound entirely. Those who were watching the livestream reported that the screen got hijacked and changed to a "cartoonish monster." I asked Johnny if he wanted me to cut this part out, but he told me to leave it. From this point, Johnny, Mark, and Taeil's voices cannot be heard.]

Cypher: Hello. This is Cypher. We have been listening in on this podcast, and I would like to make a few things clear. I am not the Charlatan, I completely denounce their actions and their methods, and to be compared to such a monster is offensive at the very least. I'd say that I'd give you proof of this, but that is not possible at the moment for me alone, at least. But, once we do gather it, I advise you all to look at your nearest screen, as we will show you the truth behind the Charlatan and bring him to justice. And in doing so we will reverse the wrongs that began on that October morning two years ago. We are returning, and we will announce that return with the imprisonment of the Charlatan, who had murdered and kidnapped our colleagues and, without a doubt, your friends as well.
