In Plain Sight (ON HOLD!!)

Chapter 4.

The rest of lunch was quite peaceful, but fun. These people were so nice to me and I fount out by actually taking a really good sniff that Paul and James were werewolves, I was shocked, but it was ok as they didn't know I was one two. Although they kept glancing at me, i'm not sure why so I just ignored them.

The rest of the day flew by, once the last bell rung I packed my stuff up and walked to my locker to retrieve my cardigan and the books i shoved in there earlier.

Once I got to my locker I checked my phone and to my surprise I had 3 text messages, I open the most resent one and it was from my aunt saying she was sorry, but had to work so I would have to walk home and cook myself some dinner.

That was no problem for me as I was an excellent cook, but I was shocked that she would actually let me cook in her heaven kitchen!

The other 2 messages where from numbers I didn't recognise, the first one said

I take it you didn't read my note new girl, otherwise you would have met me at lunch, but never mind, i'll see you soon, Well you won't know when because after all, i am a creeper ;)

straight away I knew it was Trevor, one) because he's the only person to really call me 'new girl' in a conversation and two) because he's the only person I have called a creeper.

I didn't bother to reply to the message as there was no need to, but instead I got the note out my bag and read it

Oi new girl, meet me by our English class, I have business with you that I need to sort out.

'Ooooo, you're in trouble' oh nice of you to finally join me. My wolf has been silent all day and she chooses this moment to talk to me Again? nice one. 'Oh shut up will you, I'm not in trouble because he would of mentioned something in the text.'

With that thought I read the next text, it was from another different number, seriously where is everyone getting my number from?

Heyy Maddy, its Rosie, just to let you know i'm soooo sorry, but Trevor made me give him your number for some reason, and I wouldn't have given him it, but he's just too scary. Please don't be mad at me :(

Damn that girl! Bless her, I couldn't be mad at her she's one of those girls that no matter what she does, she does everything for the best of people and you just can't stay mad at her. I replied straight away saying it's fine and I couldn't be mad at her for that.

I checked to make sure I had everything and once I was sure I had everything I started the 20 minute walk home. It was such a lovely afternoon, the sun was still shining so brightly it gave everything a nice glow. It was lovely and warm so I knew by the time I got home I would need a whole bottle of cold water to cool me down.

I also noticed this morning that my aunt has a pool. A pool! I mean I could understand it if she lived somewhere else, but the shabby house she actually lived in, a pool would be the last thing you thought the house would have.

The walk home only tuck 15 minutes not 20 so I was happy about that, once home I went striaght to the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of water and made my way up to my room. It was lovely and cool in my room because I had huggeee windows on the side of my roof that faces the back garden. I opened them as wide as they could go and stripped and changed into a pair of denim ripped shorts and one of those tops with the sides missing.

I settled myself at my desk and started on my homework. Yeah I know, homework on my first day! How unfair? I know i'm a nerd, but i'm still not that much of a fan of homework, but never mind that, I just got on with it;. It tuck me around 3 hours to finish it all and by the time I finished it was time for me to cook myself something to eat as I'm starving.

The kitchen, apart from the library was probably my favourite room in the house for two reasons, 1) I love to cook and 2) because I love to eat. Yeah i'm a werewolf, we love our food. I went through the fridge and fount some bacon and eggs, I was hungry, but didn't fancy anything big, so I just had a bacon and egg toasted sandwich.

I leant up the counter to eat my food then made my way back up to my room to have a shower and get to bed. Today has really drained me and I can just tell over the next few weeks i'm going to really need all my energy.
