Hailey was concerned. Justin didn't say anything. He let her speak. They were speaking on the phone. "I see how you look at her. When you're with Selena, your mood changes. It's like the whole room lights up when she walks in."
He loved Hailey, but ever since running into Selena and catching up on life, they started hanging out, having a good time, and his feelings grew stronger for Selena. He never had that with Hailey. Selena was different. She wasn't Hailey. Selena was fun and outgoing. Hailey was laid back. She stayed on her phone most times, and when Justin wanted to go hiking, look at historic stuff and more fun things to do, she didn't want to do none of that. "What are you saying?" Justin asked.
"I'm saying you have to choose. It's me or Selena. But before you choose, I want you to think about it. When you make up your mind, call me and if you don't then I know."
Justin didn't say anything.
"Sweet dreams, Justin." Hailey hung up.
