It started as a dream, I was chained and with a broken and black crown on my head. "Why am I here?" I asked myself, but I couldnt think of any answer or find one. All that laid around me were broken weapons and someone or...something feels more appropriate for it. Instincts told me it wasnt dead but my eyes told me it wasnt alive either. "Welcome back my liege" it bowed, but I was beyond confused. "Why am I here? And why am I in chains?". "You've always been here great shadow, and for why you are in chains....thats more complicated for me to speak of." It said remaining bowed. I remain absolute stunned by all the confusion thats spinning threw out my head. "Be rid of these chains" i say slowly getting agitated. "B-but great shadow your the only one thats keeping yourself there. You put yourself there many many years ago and specifically said to not to break your chains regardless of whats said or done by yourself" it said shakingly. I move and pull on the chains but I cant make the chains budge. "Maybe its not in terms of strength great shadow, maybe its your mind. You've done these kind of things in the past" it said shakingly again. "Why are you calling me great shadow? Thats not my name" I said curiously. "Thats...not your name great shadow, its your title and you used to take much pride into that" it said.
I remain silent and think of a way to get out of the chains. The longer I thought about it the bigger the feel of something dark, not particularly bad but something dark like the color black. "My mind huh, I see now" I say confidently. I mentally grab whatever it was but I accepted it without thinking. Immediately after I do this I become engulfed in what feels like a cloak but its I can see threw it a bit and it moves with my hands and whatever I can move.
"Youve put your shadow cloak on great shadow" it said. "Huh shadow cloak seems nice" I mumble. I tug on the chains and I go right threw them and I fall to a knee but able to get up. "Now that im free tell me who you are and where I am" i say demanding. It nods and right as it starts speaking "great shadow im...." and I wake up once again hellishly confused.
