"I got something... Wait here." You stood up, making sure the chair didn't make an irritating nose as it drew back.

You left the room, leaving Lucifer to stare at the door you left through hanging agape. He waited patiently. You were going to return, right?

And you did, about a minute or so after. In your hand was a familiar looking lyre. Lucifer's brows rose in surprise.

This was the very same lyre you used back then. How long has it been since he last saw it, he wonders. Probably those days you concluded as being a bother to him.

You took a seat at the chair once more. Your smile broadened from before, Lucifer noticed.

"I'm a little rusty, so bear with me here, Luci!"

He wouldn't have guessed. The moment your fingertips never contact with the strings, a beautiful and melodic tune entered his ears. You continued to strum a relaxing tune.

Lucifer felt his mind at ease, the creases on his brows reducing.

You focused on your lyre, not noticing Lucifer slowly fall asleep, lulled by the music.

Only when you glanced to see his reaction did you notice. You were startled. That fast?!

You almost stumbled, yet quickly fixed your strumming. The pace of the melody slowed down. You observed Lucifer's face.

His chin was propped on his elbow as his eyes closed. The light from the room exposed his sleeping face.

Only now had you noticed his flawless skin, cheek bones lined up perfectly. You had always thought the Avatar of Pride was attractive. More than that, his complexion was relaxed, no signs of the frown he always wore due to the amount of stress he was put through.

It was quite the sight, especially since you wouldn't be able to see this when he was with his brothers, who constantly stresses him out.

Looking at this, you were now aware of why Mammon said a picture of this man asleep would make a ton of money.

Your eyes shone with pride as it processed to you that you actually managed to get him to fall asleep to your tunes.

You resumed your playing despite the male's current state. It may just be light sleeping.

After a few more minutes, your fingers slowly came to a stop. You leaned closer to Lucifer's face, carefully observing his expression.

It seems you have succeeded. But falling asleep in such a position wouldn't really be too good for his body...

A long couch was nearby, giving you the idea of having his body rest there.

...

But how to put your plan in action, you wondered.

You weren't physically strong enough for this, damn it!

The corner of your lips tugged down as you let out a soundless yet exasperated sigh.

You placed down your lyre neatly in front of his desk and turned into your spirit form.

A swarm of black butterflies gently fluttered their wings. They surrounded Lucifer.

A ton of them.

You grabbed his lower arm with one hand, the other supporting his head. You cautiously separated them. His head landed on your chest due to the lack of support.

You froze upon Lucifer muttering something under his breath. The pace of your heart beat increased as you grew nervous.

Then it was silent. You released a relieved sigh. You leaned his body back and commanded the swarm to carry him.

It was a slow process, but eventually they managed. Deliberately carrying the male's body, it came closer to the couch. Once it was directly on top of it, the swarm dissipated into black dust, dissipating into nothing.

You stretched your arms out under him, grunting as he landed on them. You carefully removed it underneath him.

Lucifer's brow creased, only to relax after a few more seconds. You walked back to take your lyre, playing a short tune in front of his unconscious body.

Once you deemed it alright, you chuckled at him. Standing up, you organized the papers in his desk, placing something heavy on top in order for them not to scatter at a mere gust of wind.

With your lyre in hand, you walked back, only to halt at the very couch he rested on. Your eyes lingered on his form for longer before you smiled. You quickly snapped a photo.

Leaning down, you whispered to his ear. "Sweet dreams, Luci."

You silently made your way out his study, shutting the lights off in the process. You closed the door quietly.

Unbeknownst to you, Lucifer could only smile fondly as you exited his room.

...

Oh how tempting it was to swipe his elbow to make his chin collide with his desk...
