The Beginning

When God first awoke in the darkness in space, he made the planets and solar system. He found the planets all interesting in their own ways, but saw opportunity on a small planet he named Earth. Earth was the perfect planet for him to create with. He molded the ground to support the life he would create, and separated it into continents. He filled the remaining space with the oceans, and connected everything by making rivers. God was pleased with his work, and he rested.

The next day, God brought light to the planet, and lit up the world with a creation he called the sun. He pushed the planets so they would revolve around the sun. He also twisted each planet so they would turn on their axis. He named these turns "Years" and "Days". Next, he made the moon and stars, that would signify when night had come. God was pleased with his work, and he rested.

On the third day, God separated the Earth into four different seasons. He saw that when the world was the furthest from the sun, the air grew cold and the world was more dark. He made freezing winds and frost that would keep the plants from growing. He made the clouds colder, and the rain freeze into what he called snow. He called this season winter. The next season he made the clouds rain more as the world started to warm up. The rain would help the plants begin to grow. He called this season spring. The next season was when the Earth was the closest to the sun. The world became hot again, and the plants grew and bloomed. He called this season summer. The last season was when the Earth prepared to enter Winter. God made it so the trees went into a deep sleep and protected their life. As such the leaves fell from the trees. Because of this, God called the last season Autumn. God was pleased with his work, and he rested.

On the fourth day God designed vegetation of all kinds, making fruits and vegetables all unique to the others. He spread the seeds to the world and decreed that his food would grow through certain times throughout the years, so his creations would never be hungery. God made great gardens with all the flourishing foods, and made his form less great. He walked among the plants and trees and sampled the fruits and vegetables. Satisfied with his creations, he blessed the foods with different flavours and uses. For his favourite fruit, the papaya, he blessed the tree to grow its fruit so that if you took a bite you gained all the knowledge that God knew. God was pleased with his work, and he rested.

On the next day God took heat and he made fire. He decided this would be one of the greatest tools for his creation of life. The fire would bring warmth and protection to the creation he would call man. He created fish in the seas, birds that flew through the air, and animals that would roam the ground. The animals were all unique and ate from the grass, foods, and hunted each other. God was pleased with his work, and he rested.

On the sixth day, God finally made what he called Humans. He made them from the same material he made the animals from, not wanting them to be to knowledgeable of the world. He made his first two humans immortal, and made one man and one woman. He asked them what they were to be called, but they could not understand his question. They wanted for no names or clothes. God showed them a small part of his world, where they would live. He told them the names of the animals and decreed they could hunt them and cook them, but had to make sure no species would die out. If they did, God would be severely disappointed in them. He showed them the sacred papaya tree. He told them not to eat the papayas from the tree, for he worried they would not be able to handle the knowledge it contained. God was pleased with his work, and he rested.

On the seventh and final day, God decreed to his humans that this would be a sacred day, and a day of rest. This would be a day of no work, and no worship. Thus the heavens and the Earth were complete, and God felt fufilled.
