She giggled, turning her face to the crowd of people inside the huge house. It felt like they were in a world of their own whenever she looked into his eyes. Everything else would fall away and it was just the two of them left.

"You're lucky you found me in a good mood."
He smiled for a slight moment before it turned into a frown, his brows furrowing.

"I'm I the reason?"

She looked up at his honey brown eyes. Feeling his body now closer to hers, her heart racing because of the heat radiating from him. She always felt it but before she would be able to lean into his arms and feel that warmth for herself- now she can't.

"Do you have to ask?" She was still trying to remain unaffected by him. Which was proving harder than she thought. His hand came up to her face with hesitation,  he cupped her cheek.

"Give me just one kiss"

The question caught her off guard and he noticed, smiling for a minute at the effect he still had on her. He saw her wonder and added,

"What do you have to lose?"

Her eyes darted from his lips to his piercing eyes. What did she really have to lose?

"My sanity"

The tension between them was almost suffocating not to mention the sensation she got from his hand that had now moved to her neck, his thumb making circles just below her earlobe which sent shivers down her spine.

"I already lost mine" he said before closing the distance between them and kissing her.

His lips were soft and warm on hers but they still felt familiar to her as he pulled her body into his. His hand on her bare back made the kiss more intense as he bit her lip. She felt the smile on his lips before his tongue touched hers, his hand coming up to caress her shoulders leaving a trail of fire everywhere he touched.

She felt like she was burning, like she couldn't get enough of him at the same time her limbs felt like jelly.

He could feel her breasts pressed up on him, his hand sliding down to her thighs as he tried to pull her even closer. The silk dress she wore did little to calm the passion raging inside him now that he was holding her again. It had been too long and now that he had tasted her again, letting go would be impossible.

He could feel her heart racing when his hands skimmed her collarbone. He loved the effect he had on her, how her body would respond to his touch. She was his weakness and now there was no more denying it.

"You just couldnt help yourself ha?" A female voice from behind them shouted.

Andrea felt Ethan leave her arms in the flash of a few seconds as Hayley shoved him away from her before raising her hand and slapping Andrea. The slap was hot and burnt her cheek as she tried to wrap her head around what was happening.

Looking up Ethan was holding Hayley by the arm pulling her away from me, his eyes filled with anger, his chest heaving as he bellowed,

"How dare you lay your hands on her!"

Hayley struggled to free her arm from his iron grip, shouting back at him,

" Me?! What the hell are you doing with your tongue down her throat? Today of all days you couldn't try to control yourself!"

Ethan was calming down, the repercussions of what he had just done dawning on him. He looked back at Andrea who was shaking her hand on her cheek. She looked horrified and it was because of him.

"Don't make a scene Hayley, this isn't the right place."

"Maybe if you weren't kissing your ex I wouldn't have to make a scene."
