You plopped down next to him.

"This place looks a little dark..." Asmodeus commented, eyeing the window blocked by the curtain. None of your lights were on as well. The place was practically dark as heck.

"I got a bit lazy. I was feeling a bit tired, I guess." Not exactly a lie.

"Any reason you came?"

"Well... I had a bit of a hunch what it was about." He bit into a popsicle. He placed two spoons on top of the cooler, gesturing for you to take one of the sweets inside.

You reluctantly grabbed a/an (favorite flavor) flavored ice cream and took a spoon. "I'm surprised you already have a hunch when even I don't know why myself."

"Maybe." Or maybe you're just pretending not to know.

He grinned at you before taking a remote he had snatched from your nightstand earlier. "Anything you wanna watch or should I take my pick?"

"...Whatever." You couldn't hide your smile. "You go ahead. I'm sure I'll find whatever you pick entertaining."

"Awe, you really flatter me."

"You're cute, ya know that?"

You laughed. Not that it wasn't true, but it wasn't like this was the first time Asmodeus had heard such compliment.

It seems having Asmo here had but a rise in your mood already. You looked away onto the ice cream you held.

From the dim light the TV produced, Asmo could see a soft smile gracing your lips. He couldn't help but have his eyes linger.

Asmo ignored the pink tint lining his cheeks. After all, you already had a significant other.

"Oooh! This is a good one!"

"You're stupid! Can't you see how much I've loved you all these years, and yet you still continue to look at her?!"

Your eyes were fixated on the screen. The movie was approaching the critical moment.

The container of ice cream was empty, as you had shared half of it to Asmodeus.

Asmodeus could no longer focus on the screen.

His eyes laid upon your shriveled up form. You tightly hugged the pillow on your lap as you watched with interest. The small quirk in your expressions never missed Asmodeus' sight.

He gulped as he ignored the tight feeling in his chest. He looked away. His eyes landed on the your nightstand, right next to your form.
