"Do not talk about my brother in such light." Isa boomed, but Hyalus hummed, "Then do not speak of me in such light."

"You haven't earned an ounce of my respect, why should I treat you in such a way?"

"Because I need your help."

Her voice rolled with a calming boom, it's voice sounding both future past and present. Finally, it dawned upon Isa that Hyalus wasn't trying to do any wrong doing towards Isa. But Isa frowned, Hyalus was sick...she was twisted in way that many humans viewed Isa in but in reality she was far from it. Only now did she realize that the way she looked up at Hyalus was the look she gained too many times in the Stark Complex oh so long ago.

"With what?" Isa finally gave in to her curiosity, she wanted to curse and spit towards Hyalus, but with a world so far away, she wanted to know more.

"My people are in danger...and I am no longer in a form to suffice their needs. The realm spans over the whole galaxy, but of course there were other rulers—I am not all powerful to rule and control each and every star system out there—"

"Then why act like it?"

Hyalus opened her mouth to continue her rudely interrupted monologue, but Isa's outburst forced her to hone in onto Isa, "You are much like me and you hate to admit it—"

"I am nothing like you. You're sick, unwell, rude—"

"Have you ever considered that perhaps I am the side of your mind that you hate to admit is there? I've been here all along, Isa, our souls tied, a tether I've tried breaking myself many times and trust me if I could—I would leave you alone just like you wanted me to."

Isa was going to begin her next sentence, but for once Hyalus called her by her real name. Isa raised her shoulders and puffed out her chest with a new found confidence, "...what is the threat to your people?"

Hyalus failed to hide the small, kind smile that grew on her face just slightly, so she spun on her heels, facing the balcony that held the view of the glistening galaxy.

"Old brothers and sisters of mine. Not by blood of course...but they...are corrupt with power. Brainwashed at such a young age to take all no matter the cost. For centuries...they succeeded. Other times, I was there to protect my section of the galaxy. Eventually, I was able to write an agreement with them. As long as my sector was guarded, my land—my people will be free."

Isa now walked towards Hyalus carefully, leaning on the transparent balcony that held stars within, "But...it's no longer guarded by you?"

Hyalus's head bowed, looking down at her angled nails, "No...centuries have passed since a god has banished me to this state. I am not alive, nor am I perishable...so I'm stuck in this twisted energy that I can never release or control. Only—only a soul tied to my own can see me or use my past abilities." Her voice died out to a whisper as she glanced towards Isa, "As much as you curse and spit at me, child, that imaginary friend you had as a child was no mere imagination."

"What is it?" Yao stood next to her as she sat by herself on a distant hill, watching Stephen from a distance who was performing a spell to protect him from Isa's magic—an important preparation in their training.
