Virgil had been staying in his room lately, that wasn't completely unusual but it seemed.....

As patton sat on the couch in the living room watching a movie with the others his mind slowly wandered away as he thought about ways to approach Virgil to ask if he was okay for the tenth time
*do you need anything?*
*are you hungry?*
*are you thirsty?*
As Patton thought his hand reached his mouth as he softly chewed on his sleeve
Logan looked over at Patton who's facial expressions twisted with fear, wonder, and despair.
"Hey? You look distracted..... is anything the matter?"
Logan gently placed a hand on Patton's shoulder
Patton jumped a bit violently pulling his hand away from his mouth at the touch snapping him out of his daydream
"Yes- I'm sorry- I'm okay!"
He said smiling
Logan raised an eyebrow which caused pattons smile to drop slightly as he straightened his posture pulling his sleeves over his hands nervously
Logan just kind of had that effect of Patton. Any look that Logan gave Patton (especially when he knew he was lying) caused Patton to soften a little and feel a little ashamed about whatever he may be "doing wrong"
"I-I'm sorry.... I'm just a little worried..."
"Mmm?"
Logan's voice sounded so soft and soothing
"I don't know...."
"You don't know?"
Patton nodded softly raising his eyes to meet Logan's gaze
"How can you not know? You're... worried about something but... you don't know what you're worried about? Seems very... confusing."
Logan looked very confused and tilting his head
"No I mean- I'm okay!"
Patton replied with a sloppy grin trying to seem convincing
"Are you lying to me?"
Pattons eyes widened
He let out a small whine nearly impossible for anyone to hear
Logan knew what those words did to Patton
Patton hates lying to anyone he loves and hates it when people think he's lying. Logan secretly liked teasing Patton this way
Patton didn't respond to Logan's question.
Instead he looked away from Logan and looked at Roman instead who wasn't paying attention to them at all. He was very invested in the movie
