This Is The Primetime

Josh laughed. "I was wondering if you were going to notice him. You seem more excited to see him then me." he pouted. I smiled and pecked his cheek.

"Icky?" Jacob asked, confused.

"My kitten," I said, holding him up. "Well, last year he was a kitten. He's just really small."

"And you named him Icky because..?" he asked. I smiled.

"I'm too lazy to pronounce his whole name. His full name is Ichibod Ramsay." I said. The Marianas boys gave me a funny look.

"Ramsay?" everyone asked. Josh blushed a bit, but said nothing.

"Yeah, he's Tux and Anemonie's kitten. Josh owns them both, hence their last name would be Ramsay, and since Icky's their kitten, his last name would be Ramsay too." I said.

"Okay..." Mike said in a sing-song voice. I slapped him.

"Shut up." I said. He smirked.

"I never said anything." he said. I rolled my eyes and glared.

"Yeah but you were thinking it." I said. Josh put the pieces together and slapped him too.

We went home, and I settled back in instantly. Mostly from running around in the graveyard. Eventually the sun set, and Matt called me back inside.

"So anything happen with you and Jacob?" he asked as we jogged up the steps to get ready for dinner.

"NO!" I said. "I would never do that to Josh. More importantly, did anything happen to you and Danielle?"

Matt blushed. "No..." he started.

"EW! I don't want to know!" I screamed. He chuckled.

"Dani's back in Newfoundland, you idiot. She hasn't been here for a year." Matt said.

"Ohh righttt...." I said. He smiled.

"And since you proved you're old enough to go on tour with Hedley," he said, mocking our dad, "I'm gonna let you and Josh share a room."

I squealed and hugged him. "THANK YOU MATTY!" I said happily.

I skipped to Josh's room, and he opened the door and smiled.

"Hey roomy!" he said in a creepy seductive pedophile tone. I smiled and pecked his lips.

"Hi!" I said.

I went over and sat on his bed. I noticed he had all his guitars up on his wall. "New guitars?" I laughed.

He grinned from ear to ear. "Yup! This one, I named Piper!" he said, pointing to a new one.

"What about them?" I asked, pointing to the three others next to Piper.

"Haven't picked names for them yet." he shrugged.

I smiled and he went over to his bed. I guess I could say our bed now. He sat behind me, leaning against the wall, and wrapped his arms around my stomach.

"I missed you so much." he whispered in my ear.

"You were on tour for most of the time I was gone. How could you have time to miss me?" I asked. He smiled.

"Hahaha. I'm guessing the Hedley tour was busy?" he said.

"I worked from 6 until 12. I don't know how you guys do it!" I said. He laughed.

"I have insomnia, work was a blessing. But we just drink caffeine." Josh said. I smiled.

"You know I hate caffeine.'' I said. He smiled. "Then you're fucked. 'You got any more tours coming up?"

That reminded me! "I have my first mini tour that I'm the headline coming up!" I said happily.

"Awesome! Please say you aren't going to be gone for ANOTHER year." he pouted. I smiled and kissed his cheek.

"Nah, it's only for about 3 weeks. 15 shows, and the last one is here!" I cheered.

"14 shows, 3 weeks..." Josh said, trying to do the math in his head.

"5 shows a week, Josh." I said, and he smiled.

"Sweet." he chuckled, ruffling my hair.

"Yup. Fridays and Saturdays off." I smiled. He raised an eyebrow.

"Why not Saturdays and Sundays?" he asked. I smiled.

"Well, morning's are off anyway, because all the shows are at night, and then I can go out partying on Friday, deal with a possible hangover on Saturday, Sunday morning to recover, then Sunday night I'm out jamming." I said.

He chuckled. "I thought you said you were never going to drink alcohol again?" he pointed out.

"That's why I said possible hangover. Anyways, we should get ready for dinner." I said. He smiled.

"Okay!" he said, a little too happy.

"Wear something appropriate. Dress nice, okay Joshie?" I asked. He shrugged.

"Fine..." he said. I smiled and went downstairs and quickly grabbed an outfit. I ran back to my new room.

Josh was already half dressed, but he said he couldn't find a 'nice' shirt. Eventually we agreed on one, then I changed. We went downstairs and saw the other guys were dressed too.

When we went to supper we had a great time. They shut down the whole restaurant just for we could have a peaceful night without any fans.

As we ate dinner, we talked about all the stupid things Jacob, Dave, Tommy, Chris and I did while on tour. I swear Matt looked like he was about to die from laughing so hard.

After supper, I felt exhausted. And no, I didn't drink any alcohol. I only drank Josh's Coke Zero. I didn't want to order my own because the waitress freaked me out.

NOBODY IS SUPPOSED TO HAVE A NOSE LIKE THAT EXCEPT VOLDERMORT.

Anyways, after supper, we said bye to Hedley, and went home. I crawled myself up the stairs, changed into comfortable shorts and a tank top, and crawled under the seats.

Josh came in a few minutes later. He looked as tired as I felt. He tore off his shirt, slid off his pants and crawled up next to me.

"Night Laurey." he mumbled.

"Night Joshie." I mumbled, dazing off into a distant sleep.
