From where it all started

"Okay baba! Now come! Your treat." Kavita takes her to the boat on the Yamuna Ghat. "Oh my Lord! Boat riding! On Yamuna Ghat!" Gauri jumps excitedly. "Yes now-" "Boat riding? In the Holy Yamuna river? Sounds good." Sachi enters the scene with Sharmila and Kanak.

"You found a nice way to relax us all Kavita." Sharmila says and Kavita just smiles and lets them join as well making all the colors of joy fade from Gauri's face. Willing yet unwillingly Gauri too joined bitterly as it was supposed to be her alone time with her mother, Yamuna devi and the memories of the water.

The boat ride starts and Sharmila starts about her devotion for Radhakrishna. gauri just chose to ignore her and try to feel the coolness of the Yamuna the daughter of Surya and the sister to Shani and Yamraj who witnessed each and every leela of the lord and served the Lord as his fourth ashtrabharya Maharani Kalindi.

"Gauri? Gauri!" Sharmila calls breaking Gauri's peace. "Yes auntie?" gauri answers. "Where are you lost? You haven't spoken a word since the boat ride started." Sachi says. "Nowhere auntie. I was just enjoying the coolness of Devi Yamuna." Gauri says making them chuckle.

"You take things to seriously. What is special about this Yamuna? It has already been polluted it is just another river." Kanak says. "Then what's so special about you? You are just another human living and breathing." Gauri says.

"Gauri! that's no way to talk to your elders!" Sharmila says. "And that's no way to talk about surya dev's daughter!" Gauri says. "Now its is polluted and dirty. Then we will ofcourse call it dirty and impure." Sharmila says.

"Impure? Have you lost your mind auntie? How can Yamuna be impure? She is the daughter of surya dev and the fourth ashtabharya, the fourth consort of Krishna." Gauri says. "Yamuna was never mentioned in Bhagwat Geeta. First learn things then answer." Sachi says.

"The eight ashtrabharyas of  Krishna are Rukmini, Satyabhama, Jambavati, Kalindi, Mitravinda, Nagnajiti, Bhadra and Lakshmana. Each are the embodiment of goddesses. Maharani Rukmini the embodiment of Maha Lakshmi, Maharani satyabhama the embodiment of Bhudevi, Maharani Jambavati as Golok Parvati, Maharani Mitravinda as Devi Ganga, Maharani Nagnajiti as Devi Neeladevi, Maharani Bhadra as Devi Bhagwati Lajja, Maharani Laxmanna as Dakshina Devi and the Devi who you just insulted Devi Yamuna is the fourth ashtrabharya Maharani Kalindi herself." Gauri says.

"Like I said you are taking it too seriously." Sharmila says. "Because it is a matter to be taken seriously! You have just insulted an embodiment of Lakshmi. The ashtrabharyas are also knows as ashtalakshmi. You yourselves are financially low and are insulting the Goddess of wealth. No matter how much filth people like you fill in such rivers they will never be impure neither their devi. The one impure isn't the black water of Yamuna or Devi Yamuna but you three. Always tormenting my mother on her maternity and widowhood. What goes around surely comes back your impure heart and soul considers itself great and dear to god but remember the self proclaimed dear to gods like Chandradhar lost his valuable assets of life like his sons due to his ego. The karmafal daata Shani and Dharmaraj will surely give you the taste of your own bitter words." Gauri says.

As she was about to open her mouth Sharmila slapped her hard across  the face. gauri who was on the edge of the boat to feel the grace of Devi Yamuna fell off the boat making everybody around gasp. "GAURI!" Kavita tried to jump but Sachi and Kanak held her. "Kavita! What are you doing?" Sachi says. "My daughter!" Kavita tries to break free. "We are in the middle! This is the deepest part of Yamuna!" Kanak says.

Sharmila just sat there processing everything staring at Gauri who was helplessly flapping and paddling her arms at legs looking at Sharmila for help who stood there frozen. The Yamuna was extremely cold making her arms and legs numb. Without knowing she stopped her struggles, Gauri looked at her mother who was a crying mess for the last time and smiled at her. 

"So.. I am going to die.. Let's die epically then.." Gauri smirked. "FUCK YOU SHARMILA DESAI!!! FUCK YOU DESAI FAMILY EXCEPT FOR MY LOVELY MOTHER! SHOUTOUT TO MY MOTHER FOR BEING THE BEST WIFE AND MOTHER." Gauri shouts while pointing her middle finger to Sharmila and slowing sinking down.

She sunk down even further while losing her breath. She opened her eyes to see the light passing through water down to her making the river look beautiful green. The light refused to let go of her even when she sunk further into the dark.

"This is beautiful...." Gauri says to herself mentally while looking at the turquoise green water with light reaching her. "And those people dared to call such beauty impure.. Should have brought them along." Gauri chuckles to herself.

"How is light still reaching me? Yamuna is 60 feet deep... I must be somewhere in 25 or nearly 30...." Gauri with her little energy turned back to see all pitch black. "Darkness is something I was always afraid of.... Is surya dev trying to repay me by eliminating the darkness as I stood up for his daughter?" Gauri asks and chuckles.

"Impossible, this is kaliyug. In such yug kali lives in the mind and heart of people like my aunties. Surya dev wouldn't save a Kali..." Gauri says. "The water.... feels warm... and soft.. welcoming..." Gauri says as surprisingly the cold Yamuna was providing her warmth. 

"It.... feels good... soon my soul is going to Golok Dham leaving my body in the bottom of Yamuna. I am extremely sorry Yamuna devi for making your streambed my deathbed, I shall ask it personally after reaching the Dham till then please consider it." Gauri says.

"I am feeling extremely sleepy... my eyelids are heavy... but the darkness..." Gauri shivers. "Lets just close our eyes before this light fades and bring greater darkness." Gauri closes her eyes. "So...warm..." Gauri curls as the water current cradles her to a long deep slumber. "All I heard was 'Sleep my child' and the next thing I hear was the water current and
