Boy Was I Wrong

A tear falls

followed by so many more

It's not the same

not like the times before

these aren't for me

and I know it would kill you if you knew

You'd ask me what was wrong

and I'd pour my soul out to you

I told myself that I would never cry

it didn't take long

because here come the tears

Boy was I wrong

Refrain:

Boy was I wrong

when I heard that laugh

and saw that smile

and told myself

that the feelings would be gone in a while

boy was I wrong

You were different

that's what I hear myself say

But I was wrong again

I just didn't think it would be this way

You're just like the others

Stomping around

Now, Here Lies My Heart

in pieces on the ground

and again,

I hear that song

which I thought reminded me of you

Boy was I wrong

Refrain:

You loved me

or so I thought

I just wanted love

It was all I sought

Our conversations;

Your words so sweet

a boyfriend who loves me,

wouldn't that be neat?

I believed every word

As you led me along

I thought you were perfect

But boy was I wrong

This is supposed to be a song, but I have 0 music abilities when it comes to singing or writing music. If anyone wants to write music to go with this song, it would be greatly appriciated. I love you <3
