All three were in the White Sand Street Asylum otherwise known as Kreacher's old orphanage at some point
Galatea was there first, we do not know if she had the chance to meet Eda or Emil there but there is very high chance that they could Eda most likely at least heard of Galatea as I think the news of Galatea killing a nurse and escaping soread quickly across the Asylum I would even reach so far to say that Galatea and Emil know about eachother's existence. Emil probably forgot about her but Galatea, knowing that she wasn't in the "cages" all the time probably heard of Emil as one of the most problematic patients.
Also both have similarities in designs

Both seem to have some kind of head trauma Emil has bandages and Galatea seems to have metal cage type of helmet that could be used to keep the head together after for example skull fracture As we saw in the Emil's and Eda's video with backstory he not only has the head trauma from the dog fighting but also from the asylum as they seem to abuse the patients in a way. They could have done the same thing to Galatea and maybe even something worse, causing her skull to crack/split They both also have similarities in clothes
That's why I think that Galatea, Eda and Emil know about eachtoher and later on maybe have their stories connected. We need to look out for any letters we might get from the three or about the three. If you recieve any in-game letters mentioning anything about the White Sand Street Asylum, please comment it down below so we could get in contact so I can see Overally every letter from the game would be really helpful
