Since I was in high school, I'd always love to watched kdramas/movies. I even forgot to eat since watching kdramas keeps me awake all night. Luckily, I still have a good eyesight, maybe because I don't wash my face before I sleep. Hehehe. And people are curious why I am so addicted in watching and what I get out of it. Watching kdramas, in my opinion, makes me happy since it helps me to escape the reality of everyday life.  It helps me to be in a good mood or when my anxiety attacked.

How you enjoy watching kdramas? What makes it so addictive? What are the benefits of kdrama? I will respond to all of your questions.
I enjoy watching by simply watching my favorite kdrama, keep a list of what you want to watch next and find a kdrama buddy and let's binge watch!

What makes it so addictive?
When you watch a kdrama, you imagine that you're the leading lady because you love the character of her and her partner. Also, the plot twist of the story is the part that I like. There's so many genre of kdrama and you can choose what you want. I love imagining that I am part of the story of my fave kdrama. I can't help but get addicted to that fictitious world because of the recognition we receive.

What are the benefits of watching kdramas?
There are no major “Benefits” other than learning a few korean words and phrases such as “Oppa”=older brother/ flirting buddy, “Abba”=dad, “Omma”=mom, “Onni”=older sister, “Anneyoseo” = excuse me (I don't know if it's the right spelling so forgive me if I'm wrong :P) But if you learn these words and phrases and you hear Koreans shouting them out, you will know the meaning. Or if a little korean kid ever calls you “Onni”, you will know they're calling you sister or if an elderly Korean person says “Anneyoseo”, you will know they're saying “Excuse me” etc. You can even try to broaden your knowledge in Korean language if you want and practice it by watching the dramas without subtitles in case if you ever wanna visit Korea.

I've also learned about their cultures, traditions, behaviors, and trends, as well as how men treat women and vice versa. I've noticed that they frequently yell at each other, and I've even seen a few dramas where the males physically and verbally abused the females and got away with it. In fact, it appeared to be “Not a big deal,” which may come as a surprise to a westerner. I've also learned from how high school and college students interact with one another. To be honest, a lot of Korean drama villains have taught me about how evil and malicious people can be to one another. It is a good thing to be aware of all types of "Evil" in the world without obviously practicing any of them.
You will most likely learn to be aware of jealous haters, secret enemies, con artists, abusive, mean, dishonest, greedy, two-faced, backstabbers, gold-diggers, home-wreckers, loan sharks, bullies, and so on by watching these dramas.

𝑊𝑎𝑡𝑐ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑔 ℎ𝑒𝑙𝑝𝑠 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑡𝑜 𝑔𝑒𝑡 𝑜𝑣𝑒𝑟 𝑡𝑜 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑛𝑢𝑚𝑒𝑟𝑜𝑢𝑠 𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑙𝑖𝑡𝑖𝑒𝑠. Each of us has a unique and significant role to play in life. Even if we are happy in our current positions, many of us fantasize about what it would be like to live in a different location, work in a different career, or even be a completely different person. Kdrama allows us to temporarily escape the confines of our own world. They transport us from our own world to another, real or imagined.

What I like the most is that their lines with deep meaning because it will make you realize what life is. Here are some of the lines that I like:
- Only those who suffered truly understand suffering.
- I’d thought life would work out if I just did well in school
- If you want to make people around you happy, you have to find your own happiness first. Being selfish isn’t always a bad thing. Try to only think about your happiness when things are too stressful. It’s okay to do that.
- If you want to be fashionable, you must be uncomfortable and stubborn.

So come along with me and start watching!
