You make up the the blaring sound of your alarm clock, your head throbbing. You groan as you turn to the side, your alarm clock coming into vision. 7:30. It read. A feeling of panic rises in your chest. You were an hour late to your job, how did you even sleep that late? You get up quickly, and your head swirls. You fall back onto your pillow, nauseous. You had a massive headache, and a forming stomachache. You hear your phone going off from your nightstand. You slowly reach for your phone, grabbing it, and look at the lock-screen.

"shit shit shit" You think as you force yourself out of bed.
you hear a knocking at your door and then a jingle of a lock, before the door opens.
"Dude! I can't believe you overslept!" Your hear them yell as they open the door to your room. Their eyes go wide.
"Holy crap are you okay?!" They quickly run over to your bed and put their hand on your forehead. "I think you have a fever." They said, a worried expression comes over their face. "Don't worry, I'll take care of you." They say, smiling a little. Your face heats up, but it isn't because of the fever.

They run to the kitchen, and come back with an wet cloth for your head, a big heavy blanket, and one of their sweatshirts.
"Please try to sleep, I'll go make you some tea for when you wake up." They smile warmly at you, and you put the sweatshirt over your head. The sweatshirt is warm, and smells like citrus and vanilla. You love it.
"I'll be back soon." they say to you as they pull the blanket over you, as you eyes flutter shut.
The last thing you remember is them pressing a light kiss to your forehead.

Being sick isn't so bad after all.
