I felt a harsh grip on my forearm, forcing me to face Peter. I felt my face flushed with anger, but I was met with a worried look as he pointed at Isa.
She now sat up in the same criss cross position as Stephen, yet her hair phased between her casual raven hair to the hideous snowy white as it floated above her. Her fists were clenched, her teeth grinding together but her eyes closed.
I shivered, "She's possessed."
"Mr. Stark!"
"What?! Look at it!"
"Her!"
"She's gonna be the death of me." I crossed my arms carefully, but a tempting thought clawed at my mind.
"Orion." I felt myself whisper, and an old but welcoming voice entered my comms alongside Friday. I glanced at Peter, his eyes filled with curiosity.
"What is it, Sir?" His voice had changed, it was lighter, it had more personality. His voice was almost worried, almost as if he was questioning why I called him.
Peter cheered, "Whose that?!"
"An AI, aka, that things heart." I pointed at Isa as I began again, "Orion are you still able to insert melatonin when things get dicy?"
He was gone for a few moments too long, and I could feel my heart skip a beat as a half minute goes by. I chewed on my cheek as I glanced at Peter, "Orion?"
"I'm sorry sir, I was making other necessary calculations, she's in an extreme amount of pain yet her powers won't heal her. I was increasing the amount of beta-endorphins to help her slightly. What was your question?"
Peter jumped, "Pain?"
"Stephen probably is doing some freaky Wizard thing, beating her up or something-I don't know—Orion can you do the thing or not?"
His voice was blank for a second, "...protocol SID-1?"
"Yes."
"...yes. Would you like me to perform the protocol now?"
"No! That's all I needed to know. Thanks for your help bud."
"Anytime Sir."
His small symbol disappeared from my watch, Friday's symbol alone once again. "He's a freaky AI ain't he?" I laughed, jumping back up to the controls, my hand traced slightly over the complex wires. I bit my lip, I should've paid attention to those stupid conversations Tyler had with me-I swore she talked about ships at one point.
"Damn thing." I pushed a few wires and inserted the small disk. "You know what, Peter?"
"Mr. Stark—"
"Go get me a marker. I want to draw on her face."
"Stark!" A chilling voice echoed throughout the ship, I felt my head hit the control slightly as I sighed, realizing my mistake. I turned, finding the Wizard and Isa glaring at me.
"Ah! Finally-you two took a nap; now can you stop and help me with this?"
"No." Isa huffed, a wicked smile formed on her face as I watched carefully her arms cross.
I wanted to laugh at the look on her face, it was hilariously cocky-but I didn't want to get stabbed. Instead, I plastered a smile, "Then go back to bed."
"How long were we out?" She hummed, ignoring my order but Stephen spoke for me-, "For them? Five minutes, for us-two weeks."
I glanced at Peter worriedly, and I was met with a reflection of myself-we both silently agreed that maybe they lost it. I wouldn't be too surprised, Isa is already a phyco and this Wizard is just.....weird.
