Mirabella reads of Satoru Gojo. She reads of her future caretaker.

Satoru Gojo.

The aluminum door behind Mirabella was cold, freezing even, reminding her of the baptism she had to undergo at eight years old when her second brother was developing his very own cursed technique. She recalled herself getting drowned in an endless abyss of cold water, almost spending an eternity under the dark blue sea, before her father dragged her out by her legs.

In hindsight, Mirabella believes that she was overreacting when she was gasping for air, thumping her small fist against her hard chest as she coughed out droplets of water. But the world works differently when you are eight years old, and so she thinks that she shouldn't blame her former self too much for acting a little vulnerable.

The baptism is an important memory that Mirabella holds dear in her chest, it reminds her that she can really die even when no one wants her to die. It reminds her that her life isn't in the hands of someone on this earth, but in the grasp of an impossible eternity down the abyss. She doesn't know if god exists, but praying has been a way for her to calm herself down. The world is listening, her father once told her, and they are kinder than she thinks.

Now, Mirabella first heard of the name Satoru Gojo just a few weeks before the ruckus in the bigger part of her family turned into a complete manhunt. He, as her mother described, is the closest thing one would think of a god. Though his power is what contradicts her father's directly, Mirabella still finds it difficult to comprehend. Someone who is close to being a god, someone stronger than her.

Himawari mentioned something about how Master Tengen—whoever that is, Mirabella cannot understand her mother's heavy Japanese accent, especially when talking quickly—marking Japan as his very own property. She heavily implied that there will be so many people stronger than she is there. Mirabella tries to serve herself some servings of humble pie, and she has now prepared for the worst of cultural shock when the plane will finally land in Japan.

Satoru Gojo is someone that has her mother's complete trust—Mirabella has never seen her so willingly give everything up for a person to handle. She understands the position that she is in; she is her mother's daughter, and though Mirabella refuses to see it at times, Himawari loves her more than anything in the world, like a one and only precious stone with no other replica. She is the golden child, the one she loves most, even surpassing her brothers.

And there are times when her mother doesn't appreciate nor trusts her father enough to handle her, what makes Satoru Gojo so different?

When comparing her father to her brothers, Mirabella agrees that he isn't as strong nor vigorous as them, but he's still pretty powerful. Perhaps not to the degree where he could beat her in a serious fight, but he will definitely outdo an ordinary person.
