The sound of horses neighing could be heard for miles as 2 horses carrying a carriage storming through their way straight to the majestic royal palace of the Laurea Empire. inside that very carriage, hold its passengers, a prince, and his loyal advisor.
The prince has been looking out of the window from the moment this carriage step on the empire land and his face written his excitement. that and the advisor couldn't help but notice.
"My prince, pardon my statement but I can't help but notice you are really content today and I must say that I already know the reason," he can't help but smile at his prince. the prince turns toward his advisor and chuckles. "Darren~ I thought you would never notice it," he said teasingly and both of them burst into laughter.
"Well, it's my job to take notice of your every move and action, sir. Not to mention that I had to take care of your emotion too as you-"
" 'As a prince, you must not decide based on emotion and show your enemy, your weakness' is that what you going to say, Darren?" the prince smirk as he mimics Darren's habit. Darren can't help but cringe at his prince. "The sentence was correct but your acting... please~ you need to improve it. The tone was not even correct!" he dramatically comments.
They are getting close to the palace and the royal guards open up the gate for them to enter. The royal carriage of Cheshire Empire halts to stop at the main entrance and a royal guard opens the door for the prince. The Cheshire Prince came out from the carriage and was followed by Darren right behind him. A maid walked to the prince and greet him. She bowed.
"Greeting, Prince Eli. The princess had been waiting for you," she said with full of courtesy. "Greeting to you too, Lizzy. How have you been? Does the princess give you trouble?" Eli smile and he and Darren follow her.
Lizzy give him small smile and said, "No, my prince. The princess is just really eager for this meeting. I must say that she chose the best dress she could think of for this day,". satisfied with her answer, Eli let it be until the three of them arrived at the front door of the main living hall. With a small knock, Lizzy pushed the door open only to see that her beloved princess is standing on the couch with her right hand on her slim waist, walking back and forth.
"Oh dear, " she couldn't help but feel ashamed of the princess's act. Heard the familiar voice, the wandering princess instantly turns her head towards the door only to get immediate embarrassment. Eli and Darren along with Lizzy were looking at her both in shock and amazes for the prince. The princess's face abruptly turned red.
Seeing that the princess is embarrassed, Eli turned to Lizzy and Darren. "Could both of you leave us alone?" they look at him and nodded. "Of course, sir,". At that, Darren and Lizzy bowed before stepping outside the room and closing the door.
In the blink of an eye, the princess rushed down the coach and run to the prince in waiting. "Prince Eli!" she called. The Cheshire prince couldn't help but smile at her. "Good morning, Princess Ezra. Seems like you were anxious about something. Does anything bother you?" Eli took her right hand and kiss it gently. Again, making the princess goes red.
Ezra giggle and shook her head. "Good morning to you too. Well, nothing is bothering me now, that you are here," a faint blush decorating her porcelain face. Wanted to save her from becoming more bashful, Eli offer his hand to his lady.
"Well then, shall we start our picnic?" he bowed a little while smiling at her. Princess Ezra of the Laurea Empire take his offered hand and gave a small nod with a sweet smile. Eli escort the lady to the outside garden where their small picnic date took place.
